Nasty Weather

We had some nasty hail today...I don't think I've seen anything this big ever or in a long time at least...We had just barely made it home and thankfully my car was safe in the garage when these hugs balls came falling down!..

The sad part about today was there was a large F5 tornado come through Moore, OK again...And the scary part was that mine and Kerry's old house and neighborhood is completely gone...It was awful seeing the news and knowing they were on our street...We saw where our old house should have been standing several times, but instead just a pile of debris...
Our house is under the letter 'e' in the word gone...Across the street is the elementary school and it was completely destroyed as well...Thankfully none of those kids were killed...The other elementary school a mile away wasn't so lucky killing 7 children...
The national news walked right up to our street...The closest house is our old neighbors..That is their tree in the front yard...We are just the 2nd pile of debris over...They were actually trapped in their cellar for awhile because of all the piles...I just can't even begin to imagine knowing everything is destroyed...
The paths of the 3 Moore tornadoes...Luckily, we were only there for the 2003 one and it hit a block or two north of us...We were safe in those same neighbors cellar that day with the 4 dogs....Red is 1999, Blue is 2003 and green is today May 20th, 2013...
Someone posted online a picture of our neighborhood below...The red 'x' shows where our first home as a married couple once stood...
I still can't wrap my mind around it quite yet....Prayers for all those people left homeless and the ones who lost loved ones...And the poor animals who are wondering what in the world just happened and where are their families....Breaks my heart

This picture was from our old neighbors facebook page...This is the front of the house...We were just to the left...You can still see our brick flower bed we built right behind their tree...
