Sweet Boy

I love when this guy just comes up to me to ask for a kiss/hug and then continues to play. I had to snap a pic of him after he did that this evening. He is the cutest thing;)

The Fair with Grammie

Kohen has been to the fair I think every single year since he was 2...He always has a good time...Kresee has been once but just hung out in the stroller last time...So Grammie thought both kids would really enjoy it...We went on the $15 wristband night which is well worth the deal since each ride is basically $3-4 dollars!!...
First stop was the carosel....I kind of thought Kresee would be a little scared of most everything, but she really surprised me....
She thinks this is great:)

Next up Kohen really wanted to ride the spider....I can handle things that spin like crazy--actually always loved them....Kerry, on the other hand, can barely handle the carosel, so I'm glad he wasn't with us---haha....

Well this thing was fast....There was a time where we were spinning so fast and I didn't think it was going to end...Kohen is making these weird sounds, so I thought he was maybe laughing...It took me a second to realize he's in major panic mode and scared out of his mind...I've never seen him scared of any rides, so I felt really bad for him....Then he complained of his stomach and I just knew he was going to throw-up...Thankfully we survived the longest 4-5 minute ride!!!

Kresee really wanted to ride the motorcycles...They are really rough and I wasn't sure about it...I even asked the guy if she starts having a complete meltdown to stop the ride...BUT she loved them!!

So the kids were excited to enter the petting zoo until we walked in and this huge thing bombarded Kohen, knocked his cup of food out of his hand and scared both kids to death....He's huge!...And those animals weren't scared to take all your food!!

So they were not impressed after that...Kresee did not want down...Kohen just walked around with his hands in the air....I ended up feeding the animals by myself....

Kohen decided he could check out a turtle...That was safe...Turtles just lay there....

Mom suggested she take a picture of the 3 of us...Well Kresee was not going to be put down...Kohen was still traumatized....They were too worried about what was down there instead of looking at Grammie....

Then big deer comes and Kohen is like you better not touch my hands...Kresee is saying back up deer...He's just trying to get the cup of food in my hand though!

Now I can't stop laughing because not only is the deer all up on us...This baby goat jumped up on me (see his foot in my crotch)....He did this numerous times and I had to keep knocking him off me...SO we quit trying to take a family pic in the petting zoo!!

Potato sack slide has always been one of Kohen's favorite thing...When he was 2, we did this ride over and over and over again...Kresee and I went with him the first time down...I asked if he wanted to race us....Smart thing said no "because you are heavier and heavy people always win"

LOVE his face...too funny:)

Kresee wanted Grammie to take her down one more time...

Kohen's favorite is that crazy fun house...He wouldn't get out of the stupid roller thing at the end though...

One more time on the merry-go-round for Kresee...Kohen and I sat in the bench together instead of a horse...

The dizzy dragons were our last ride before we headed home since it was way past the kids bedtime on a school night....

And the kids weren't in too great of a bed on Friday morning when it was time to get up for school--haha!!

Coyote Soccer

I feel bad that I haven't taken any pictures during the games....Since I'm coaching, I don't have my camera out at practices...I don't have my camera out during the games...I need to make sure that I have someone take some...Or at least just do it...The kids would be fine while I snapped a few pictures of my little soccer star!!! And it's only been 2 games so far, so I'm not doing too bad I guess!

So I actually took some before the game...The other team was running around playing with Kohen and his ball...So it appears that I took some during the game--haha..Kresee is always excited to go to Kohen's soccer games...It's weird thinking that she might actually be out there this time next year since they started letting 3 year olds play....Guess we will wait and see if she might be ready....

But we beat the Lil Flames last week 7-4...Kohen scored 1 goal and did really well....3 other boys each got 2 goals a piece...I was surprised at how well we ended up playing...We have 4 boys who have never played before....They did great.....

Yesterday we beat the Ninjas a whole bunch (like probably in the 20's) to maybe 4...I seriously lost count in the 1st quarter....I know Kohen scored at least 5 himself in that 1st quarter....Every boy except 2 had several goals each....And the poor ref did a great job but we realized our 10 min 1st quarter lasted an entire 20 mins!!!....It was just our halftime (40 min half )when the other 4:00 games were completely finished...At the end of the 1st half I told her she can't stop her watch every single time the ball goes out of bounds...So the 2nd half went a little quicker, but it was the longest soccer game ever!...And it didn't help that we were killing this team...We were the last people to leave the soccer complex...It was completely empty at 5:20!!!

But Kohen played awesome...His goals were great....One shot was probably the best goal I've seen him score...He cut by a player and went to the right...Kicked a hard right foot shot back across the middle of the field into the goal...It was pretty:)

I hope the Coyotes continue to do well...I know there will be some tough games and hope we can hang with all the teams:)

100 Days

Today we hit our 100th day of 100+ degree temperatures. It's crazy. We've broken a lot of records all summer, but man it's been hot. We've got a little taste of cooler weather last week. I'm very ready for those days to be here all the time.
I'm ready for running outside more. I ran outside Sunday at 3 pm which was dumb. I was smarter today and ran 4 miles on the treadmill and it was much easier!!
Our 2nd half marathon is December 4th and I'm ready to be outside training.

First Dance Class

Kresee started dance classes last Wednesday at Dance Etc....She loves to sing and dance....And I just knew she would love dressing up in a tutu and tap shoes:)...So you only had to be 2 1/2 years old and I signed her up...We have been patiently waiting for September to arrive so she could begin...She was so excited to get ready...And of course she looked adorable!!!

Got her backpack on (with the tap shoes in it) and holding her slippers...She is ready to go!!

We went and picked Ezra and her mommy up...I'm glad that Kresee has some friends in this class since she is so shy....

Kresee and Ezra walking in together...Not really wanting their picture made...I'm sure Kresee might be getting a little nervous at this point...

Taking it all in...Wondering about all these other little girls running around....

It took her a minute, but she did get out there...Kenzie, her cousin, was there so that really helped out...

I think her and Kenzie held hands pretty much the entire time....

Ezra had a rough go of it off and on like Kresee...But they would cry and then go back on out there....

She would be out there doing fine and turn around and see me and do this!...

The last half of the class (with the tap shoes on) she sat in my lap the entire time...She wouldn't even attempt to go out there...Ezra wasn't up for it either....

But her and Ezra sure were OK with going back up there to get their stickers at the end of the class...They put one on their tap shoes every time and Kresee had a hard time leaving it on...I have a feeling she will peel them off:)

Next week and every week from here on out, you aren't allowed to watch or be in the room...I think Kresee will cry, but eventually will get over it...And once she gets used to it, I think she's really going to love it...The next day when I picked her up from school on Thursday, the first thing she asked when we got in the car was "I get to go to dance class today?"....I told her not till next week:)
