Monthly Numbers

Well I sure like my numbers this month, so why not brag on myself--haha!!....I looked back at January of last year and my monthly total was 58 miles....
Today I logged 6 more miles to total 92 miles this month!!!...Doubt I have many months of this high of a number....It was a good month and I'm really enjoying running....
And 9 hours of gym classes isn't too bad either....Those account for zumba and a new bootcamp class I go to once a week....It kicks my bootie in a good way, but completely wears me out on Tuesday....
Note to self---don't run a fast 5 miles, walk a mile, then go to an hour bootcamp class....Especially when the class was 85% legs/butt....I'm toast and will be in bed early tonight:)

Father's Night at SLP

Last night was Father's Night at School for Little People...Kresee was super excited about Daddy going to her school...She kept telling me that he was going to come and paint with her...Then he could choose a snack---cereal bar, gold fish or fruit snacks....

I kept telling her that they were going to go on a dinner date...She kept thinking I was saying they were going to eat dinner with Tate...She doesn't even have a friend named Tate?...Anyways, he did take her on a date to McDonalds before they headed to school...I did not snap a picture beforehand...I wanted to wait until they got home with all their projects:)

My favorite thing is when they ask the kids questions about their Daddy--here are her responses:
  • Daddy's favorite color is pink
  • He is 3 years old
  • Daddy likes to eat french fries from the super market
  • He gives me hugs and I laugh
  • Daddy likes to play with toys
  • He watches "baby Kohen" ride horses
  • Daddy works at the pizza place

Then I thought it was neat that they did a little one about themself:

  • Pink is my favorite color
  • I am 2, but I'm going to be 3
  • I watch Bubble Guppies
  • I eat hot dogs
  • I like to watch my car roll around when I push the button
She couldn't wait to hang it all on the fridge:)

Sunday with Friends

Sunday afternoon was spent at the Maroney's like every Sunday afternoon....But this was a good one b/c it's the end of January and the weather was so pretty...It was a bit breezy at times, but nothing would stop these 5 kiddos from enjoying their play time outside....
Kohen thought his almost 40 lbs self could pull about 75 lbs of girls:).....
My friend Stephanie brought over her 3 kiddos to play in the pretty weather...They were in town, so I was very excited to get to see them...
I brought plenty of cars and scooters over so each kid would have a ride:)....
Adeline taking Kenzie for a ride in the barbie jeep
Adam and Audrie Kate riding on the little 4-wheelers....Jaxson zooming around on the scooter...
Jaxson took Adam for several rides on the go-cart...Then Kohen would take Adeline...Here she is giving the thumbs up approval for her go-cart ride:)
The kids had a really, really great time...They drove around and around for a long time:)

Petting Zoo

We went to Hutch's 2nd birthday party on Saturday....You had Kresee at petting zoo...She was very excited to see all the animals---there were bunnies, goats, ducks, chickens, and 2 day old chicks....So Kresee basically stayed with the baby chicks for an entire hour:)
Kohen sat hesitantly outside the fenced off area just taking it all in...
He eventually with lots of coaxing came inside and held a baby chick or two....
Kresee finally decided that she would ride the pony...She wasn't too sure about it at first but with Daddy holding her hand, she was OK....
Then she was good on her own
Henry and Maggie took a ride together as well:)
I put my camera up but then Kohen decided he might like to ride the pony before they left...He was determined that he did NOT want to ride...But I'm glad he decided too....The birthday boy was pretty content so he hopped on the back with Hutch....
We had a great time and what great weather they had this weekend!!

100th Day of School

Today was the 100th Day of School....So my baby has been a big ole KG student for 100 days!....Crazy....What's crazier is that it is January 31st and 70+ degrees outside!!

Mrs. Evans giving the low down on the afternoon...They had 4 stations in her room, then they switched classes for more stations in the other KG room...Kohen's first station was lots of exercising...100 of 6 different things---running in place, jumping jacks, arm circles, etc...They had to count to 100 for a partner....Here and Tanner running in place....
Bella doing 100 arm circles...
Here is Kohen's group exercising hard....
Sam was at the counting by 10's station...They had packets and a choice of lots of stamps to have 100 stamps on their papers...
Kohen was sitting at the front of the room, so I had to snap a few of him:)
Kohen and Bella lining up 100 dominos in the hallway...They had to guesstimate how far 100 dominos would go and mark it...Kohen guessed 2 far...He probably needed about 20 more dominos to get to his marker....
Sam in the exercise station....
Then Mrs. Yonts made sausage and bagels...The kids had to lay them out so the sausage was the "1" and the bagels were the "00"...Then they got to eat them up....
Then I had to leave and get my next group...So I didn't get to see them switch to the other class....I love having him at my school and being able to peek in and see what they are doing on special days like this....I was in between groups and took advantage of my little break to hang out with my big guy:)

Bulls WIN!!!

So glad I took my camera to the basketball game this past Saturday...I conteplated not taking it, but thank goodness I did...But I got to snap some pictures of possibly the Bulls only win this season!!...They won 16-10...Kohen played great...No baskets but he did get several shots...We were proud that he was aggressive and got in there...Dribbled well and is one good defender--haha!!He's like in mid-air...I think he's excited to throw the ball in bounds....
Dribbling down towards the basket....
After the game, he was jumping up and down...Daddy giving him a high-five
Everyone was so stinking excited about winning...Even the parents were super excited...I know I sure was...You would have thought we just won the NBA Championship...But it sure make your heart smile to see the boys having fun and how happy they were....
Coach Jordan was the most excited...He didn't want to have a win-less season!
Kohen's bud Sam...They are in the same KG class and are great friends....
After the game, Sam was still so excited...He ran after Kohen outside to get in a few more hugs!!
So we are currently 1-5...We have 2 games left...Maybe we can pull out a 3-5 season:)
