Lazy Girl

Kresee LOVES her chair....I don't know if it's because her big brother has one and it sits right beside hers or if she just loves sitting in it....She is able to climb on up in it and will just hang out...It cracks me up!!...And we have really been using it to show her how to appropriately get off the bed....If she can get on her belly and flip around her feet touch the top and she is able to slide down and sit and then continue to get on the floor...We still have a ways to go before she can do it on her own but she tries:).....

Christmas #5

This was supposed to take place at Kerry's Meme and Papa's on Christmas Eve afternoon...But, again, we all know how that day turned out...And the next day wasn't much better and so on...So we decided to finally give it a go yesterday (Sunday) at lunch...Eventhough we were still missing most of the family (who live in Dallas) it was nice...Small and simple....
Kresee and Big Papa.....
We ate some Mexican food (my favorite) and then let the 4 kids open presents.....Kohen got a helicopter, transformer, monster truck, football shirt and money....
Kresee got some clothes, a baby doll that giggles, car keys, money, and a book....
Uncle Jayson fixed Kohen's chin strap for him....
Kerry had some frames made for Christmas this year to give to his Papa and his Dad and then one for us to keep...He started this a year ago...Since Kerry became a licensed engineer last year in June 08, he decided it would be neat to have their 3 seals together in once nice, frame...They turned out great:)....

Christmas #7

Christmas #7 was supposed to take place at my Nana and Papa's on Christmas Day at lunch....But since they live outside city limits and the streets were still terrible we moved it until Saturday the 26th....Of course, Kresee goes down for a nap at 10:30 and we were supposed to eat at 11:30....We made it out there by 12:30....Papa wasn't even there...He was out making money by clearing lots and such and helping pull people out of who knows where with his backhoe and truck...But he finally made it back around 3:00 for us to open presents.....Kohen got a blow-up football guy for target practice, an OU ball and bat, ABC letter/spell board, and a Scribble n Write.....Kresee got some clothes, shoes and a puppy dog that teaches you some things:)
Aunt Sandra pulled the blow-up football guy right as Kohen was mid-air...So needless to say he missed the football player and landed smack on the floor...He hurt his hand pretty good...We think he must have feel on it...Later that night he assurred me his fingers were feeling better...Then yesterday I knew what he meant...His knuckles were a little swollen and purple...I guess he bent them pretty good...Poor guy!!
TT and Kresee Leigh playing....Kohen playing pool and Kresee playing with the balls.....
Kresee with carrots still on her mouth from lunch.....
The kids sacked out once we got in the car...Kohen has been running on no naps the past few days and he definitely needed one:)

5 months

5 months ago today.....And I cry knowing she's way down under all that snow behind our house:)....

I missed her so much these past few days....I would have given anything for her to be digging in the trash and chewing on presents and trying to get the Santa cookies this year.....

These were from last Christmas....

She was always right there wondering what we were doing....Trying to see if Kohen got anything good:)....

Christmas #6

This was the Christmas I was waiting for....In our own house Christmas morning with just Kerry and I with the kids...It was Kresee's first Christmas and Kohen's fourth...He was definitely more excited this year than he ever has been....It's been so fun letting him count down the days this month...Every day he couldn't wait to eat his chocolate from his Advent Calendar.....

The kids were both in bed and asleep by 8:30 Christmas Eve....I immediately got started...I had to put Jasper and the Elf on the Shelf Book away....I got out all the stocking stuffers and put Kresee's toy from Santa together (or Kerry ended up doing that since it required a screw driver)....We went to bed at a decent time after watching the weather on the news...Kerry got up and got Kohen about 2:00 am and put him in our bed knowing he would sleep longer....Kreseee got up at 8:00 and we hung out in our room for a little while.....I pumped and watched Kresee while Kerry let Kohen look at his gifts from Santa----a bicycle and green/black football players....I made them wait to open up any stocking stuff from Santa....
Kohen was most excited about the mess that Santa made while eating his cookies......Those are his football players from Santa by the remote.....
Kresee and I.....
Kohen got lots of great stuff from Santa in his stocking: books, candy, football gloves, football wrist bands, punch ball, sticky hand things, DVD's, etc....

Kresee got a walker/stroller with a baby doll....It was funny because I had all the kids stuff sitting out in the living room from the past few days and she went right past it and straight to her santa gift...She got some bug cars and DVDs and block things in her stocking....

Kohen got her this toy puppy since she loves puppies:)....He picked it out himself.....

Kohen took this picture by himself....I thought he did an excellent job!!

Kohen did get his Coyote football helmet, cleats, etc and he was super excited about them all...Kept telling us his helmet was beautiful...BUT his most favorite gift: the snow:)...So we told him to thank God for that and he did!!....

Then we bundled up like crazy...I think Kresee had 5 pair of socks and 4 pair of pajamas...I was barely able to zip her coat...We all went out to play in the snow for a little bit...

Kresee could not sit up so I just laid her down flat so that we could take her picture....

Kohen had fun though and was able to last longer since we had many layers on him as well.....

He did get to make a snow angel....The snow would not stick to make a snowman....It was too powdery....Eventhough our neighbors managed to make one:)....

And the dogs did NOT enjoy this snow....There was one area that the snow didn't pile up on and they continue to head there everytime to do their business.....

We came in and warmed back up...Ate lunch and put on new PJ's.....Kohen was watching our neighbors have a snowball fight...He was a bit jealous......
And then Kresee took a big 2 hr nap and Kohen played on his new ClickStart Computer in his room.....

We then headed over to Kerry's parent's house after Kresee woke up to try and get my car but it wouldn't budge...So it spent the night again over there....It is home nice and warm in our garage tonight:)
