After we went to the OKC Thunder game, we got up the next morning to head to the OKC Zoo....Kerry and I had only been here one time when we were going to OU so we were excited to take Kohen...It was a windy day...But it felt good b/c it wasn't too sunny, pretty overcast and the temperature was very nice....
Kohen wanted to head to the Children's Zoo area first where there were lots of goats!
He petted this sheep several times....
The goats liked Kerry's bracelet and his shorts pocket...
Kohen swinging on the monkey rope
Kerry staring at this yucky fish...Can't remember the name of it...But it is a very dangerous fish because it eats anything and everything...It can live out of water for up to 3 days as it squirms on land to another water source...crazy...
This anteater was so big...I didn't realize that...
This meerkat was just hanging out...It was pretty cute...
Kohen actually asked me to take his pictures several times which was a big surprise...
Then he needed to take some himself....
On the lion statues....
This big gorilla was just sitting around...
My favorite of the day was Siri...A little baby chimp who has no right arm...An adult female unintentionally hurt her and they had to amputate it...We sat and watched her for a long time...She got around pretty well but can't climb up stuff quite yet...I hope she figures it out someday....
She loved this big piece of lettuce...
But then she spotted Kohen and his large leaf...If the reflection wasn't so bad and there weren't 30 people gathered around, I could have moved for a better picture...But she is standing right in front of him..They are just staring at each other...She really wanted his leaf!!
Walking up to see the elephants
This guy is 43 years old!
When we were leaving the elephants, we spotted Siri and the others way on the other side...Soooo glad she was up close so we could see her...Everyone walking through at this point didn't even get to see her...She was so cute...
These bears were so entertaining...We watched them interact for a long time as well...They were pretty funny....
