This morning I woke up and went to check on the eggs....One of them had a little crack in it...You could definitely tell something was happening...We were just excited about that...But we knew it could take 24 hours for it to completely hatch...At lunch, it looked about the same...We left to go to soccer practice at 5:30 and not much had changed....Came home from practice to this!!
We think it had just happened because he looked a little wet and he wasn't moving much....But now he is in their chirping away:) and he thinks he can walk around but he is pretty clumsy...We don't really know when we are supposed to move him...They say when he's completely dry, so I guess we will in a few more hours...We think the egg next to him will hatch soon too...So we are hoping he has a friend in the morning!This is Kohen's sweet face right after we discovered that he was officially a Daddy:) He was so proud and excited that he named him Lawnchy...And he wants all the names to rhyme so that he can call them the "Rhyming Bannie Chickens"
