We took the kiddos to Kids Fest on Saturday....We met up with their cousins, Kenzie and Jaxson....Kohen loves going....This was our 3rd trip....We missed last year b/c they cancelled b/c of the swine flu scare and it was rescheduled on a weekend we were at the lake....
Kresee hung out in her stroller the entire 1.5-2 hrs we were there....She is a people watching baby, so I think she enjoyed all that was going on....
The first thing Kohen saw was the first thing he wanted to do....The wave slide...So he gets in line and then here comes a man dressed as Darth Vader!!...He freaked....He took off out of line and was heading straight towards him....I'm yelling at him "Get back in line---I've already paid your $1---You can see Darth Vader later"....If you would see all the kids and all the lines, you would understand...So he got back in line and went down the slide....
But then we immediately had to find him before we could do anything else!!....Here he is all excited, but then upon closer observation, I think he got a little bit scared....
We had to reassure him that it was OK....He has seen everything related to Star Wars so he knows he is a bad guy....He couldn't understand why he didn't have his light saber...But later saw him with it....
Jaxson wanted a picture with him as well....
Then they rode the train outside....This is always a favorite....
And we were the parents that paid $7 for Kohen to jump for 2 minutes....But it was worth every penney once you saw his face light up and how much he enjoyed it...I did tell him prior to jumping that kids only get to do it one time....He was so proud of how high he jumped...
We had a great time....And we got home around 3:15 and my mom came to get him 30 mins later to take him to a carnival....So Kohen was worn out by the end of the night....And Kresee and I laid down for 2 hrs---I didn't sleep the whole time but it was nice just snuggling and laying with her for that long....
