Family Party

We had Kohen's family party last night...We had fun bowling Friday night and the kids got to spend the night at Grammie's because Kerry and I had a run early Saturday morning...They got to come and cheer us on and then head to Chuck-E-Cheese...He had a soccer game Saturday afternoon, then we ate a yummy mexican food, then hurried home for his 6:30 family party...Kathy's always does a cute cake...Since we had a little bowling action, he thought he needed a bowling birthday cake:)
Still in his soccer uniform since we game straight home from the game....

Then time to open some more presents...Grammie got him a basketball goal for the driveway that he is very excited about...Sallye and Grandpa Randy hooked him up with an OU cooler bag and some goodies inside and an OU pillow pet that he has slept with every night...He got some money and gift cards which are always good....

Aunt TT and Paul got him guitar Hero...He was pretty excited to get this set up...
His most favorite present was letting Jaxson spend the night...We've never ever done a sleep over...I was soooo tired from getting up early for our run and going all day long but we managed to stay awake until 11:30 letting the boys play...I made them a bed in the living room floor and Kresee wanted to sleep with them...We wouldn't let her so she slept in his bed all night long...So I told Kerry she was probably read to move out of her crib into a big girl bed:)
He had a great birthday though and again just can't believe he's 6 and about to graduate Kindergarten!!! He loves everything sports and can't get enough of playing anything and everything...I dread the day that we really tell him he needs to pick something because he can't keep doing it all...He is become such a good reader...My highlight is at bedtime when he reads me stories and we work on his sight words...He loves school and is doing so well...He teachers says he is so very ready academically for 1st grade, so I'm happy about that...He is a sweetheart and such a kind little guy...I'm very proud of him:)
