Sugar Update

Well it's been exactly a month since Sugar went to the vet to get her neck all fixed up from that collar....I wanted to try and get some pictures of her b/c it looks so great...She shredded her harness so we bought her a nice new collar that fits her just right...She doesn't seem to mind it at all...She did this while in her crate...I'm not sure how??

Here she is actually chewing on a dog toy!! Something very rare...Normally it's a shoe, a kids toy, a kleenex...Basically anything she can find that she is NOT supposed to chew on...Have I mentioned that she's a puppy---a big puppy...I know we've had puppies in the past but Parker is 11.5 years old so it's been a long time...I know our dogs did some bad puppy things, but man this dog is crazy...Thank goodness she's potty-trained...She is so stinking sweet and loving though...

She's not so great on a leash..I took her to football practice and we walked a mile on the trail...I tried to jog with her the other day...We went a mile but it took 12:30 to run 1 mile...She's not so great on running..We need to practice more walking:)

 And these two can't get enough of each other...They love to play and play and play

 We got her a 2nd round of shots since she is a pup and needs 3 rounds....SHe is sleeping in the bed with us and doing great...Holds it all night long...She is a pig and loves to eat....She stays in the crate while we are at work...I don't even trust her in the utility room with the other dogs...I think she would find something to chew on like the wall or baseboards...

 But LOOK at her neck...From those first pictures 4 weeks ago, she looks amazing...You wouldn't even know at all...She is a lucky dog and I feel so lucky that we got to be the ones to give her a loving environment to get all better in ...

 Two worn out dogs...They play and then zonk out...

Have I mentioned Sugar chews everything--haha...Well I really don't know how she pulled this one off...Kohen's yellow rain poncho was hanging on the chair next to her crate...The slits on the side of the crate are maybe an inch wide?...So I can't figure out how she would get her mouth, foot or toe nail through to get the rain poncho into her crate just a little bit...But then proceded to get the entire thing in through the tiny holes and shred the poncho into 1,000 pieces....OMG...she's a mess!!

 Then you have Hunter...Old man who wanted some puppy treats...I walk into the kitchen and he is frozen like this ...He doesn't move, doesn't know what to do...Did I help, nope?...I went to my room and got my phone so I could snap a picture...When I pulled it off, it was stuck pretty good...Goofy dog!!
