1st Lion Football Game

Last night, the Lions got together to get their jerseys and get their helmets striped and ready for the big game today....They all just sat and waited patiently for their turn....
Kohen was super excited about it all
Can you tell he was ready to get that jersey...
He picked #13...My soccer number my entire life:)...What a sweet boy!
Then we were up and ready for the big game this morning against the Bulldogs...Daddy helping him get ready....
Warming up before the game....
He is so stinking cute...
Hitting drills
Kohen's two favorite cheerleaders...Chloe was in his KG class and Bella went to preschool with him and they were in KG last year together as well...But this year they are all 3 in different classes...
Kresee thinking she needed some gatorade on the sidelines before the game started
Lining up for the referees to check them out and go over names/numbers...
I told myself since Kohen's only time on the field was when he kicked off and then kick off return, that I wouldn't let myself get all worked up over a little football game....BUT as always, this game had me from the get go....

Kohen has his tee since we kicked off first...
Coach McAfee telling him where to kick the ball...
He had a great 1st kick...All I keep telling him is that it only has to go 10 yards;)
The Bulldogs scored a touchdown but missed the extra point...So it was 6-0...Here is Coach telling Kohen where to be when they kicked off to us...
The game went back and forth with no scoring for awhile....
Then with only 4 minutes left in the game, we scored the touchdown with the extra point to make it 7-6...I just knew we had won the game since no one had scored the whole time....
Kohen got to kickoff again and they ran the ball back for a touchdown...It was now 13-7 with not much time remaining...

We got a super late touchdown run with the extra point to make it 14-13...
Kohen kicked off for a 3rd time and we held them for the win...

  Shaking hands after the game....

That was crazy exciting and a lot of fun winning at the very end...They did a great job...Kohen did awesome kicking the ball:)
