PETS in KG

My sister came and spoke on behalf of her awesome PETS Low Cost Spay and Neuter clinic today to the KG students...She and a few others are trying to make their rounds into some of the schools to talk about pet safety, how animals help us and of course the main thing which is spaying and neutering your dog/cat....She didn't get into all that with the KG kiddos though:)
Instead she brought her friend Katrina who brought a sweet friend named Wish....The students were doing a lesson on Buster--a service animal--so the teachers thought it would be good to bring in a dog...

Here they are rounding the corner from lunch and seeing this sweet thing waiting for them!
Leslie in front of 44 KG students...They did really well!
Katrina telling them what to do when they would like to pet a dog....
Kohen was soaking it all in...He was super quiet...Never raised his hand or tried to answer any questions....
Then they let 6 kiddos come and show what to do if they approached a dog....
I think all the kids had a great time...And I'm glad most of my teachers over at both Franklin and Sheppard are letting them come and speak to their classes...Important information these kids need to know if they don't hear it at home....
