Pretty Chilly

We went swimming at Kerry's parents the other night....It was pretty chilly since it had rained...That didn't stop Kohen...He shivered and his teeth chattered the whole time....Kresee absolutely loves the water too so I had to let her in for a few minutes...

Kohen did great practicing with Kerry on his swimming.....

He even jumped in the pool without his life jacket....He is usually still too cautious to do this but did it this time.....

Kohen had a blast being thrown (very high) around in the pool.....One time Kerry chunked him and he must have landed on his side....He came up and was gasping for air....He got the breath knocked out of him....We couldn't help but laugh when he still could barely breath but managed to say "Daddy can I do that again?"

And here he is about to land smack on his belly....Good thing for the life jacket!!

Kohen thought it would be fun to hang on to Kresee's arm and have Daddy drag them...We had to tell them that wasn't such a good idea.....

Go Yotes

Kohen was super excited to go to the Coyote Game on Thursday....Good thing he had a good nap because they didn't get home until 11:15!!!...It was a long game and a close one....Too bad they didn't pull it out for their season opener....

Kohen got to be a "Junior Coyote"....They get to wear these cute white T-Shirts that allows them access to the field before the game...They get to high-five the players as they come down on the field and run through the Coyote head....He can't wait to do it all again:)

Over the Moone

4 Weeks

4 Weeks have gone by.....I just miss her so much....It has been a rough 4 weeks and there hasn't been a day that I haven't sat down somewhere and just cried....

Kohen told me tonight "Mommy you don't need to be sad....We will see her again when we go to Heaven." It was so sweet and I really wish it made me feel better because they were such sweet words coming from him......

I survived....

I survived my first week of work....I missed this sweet face though....

First time in a long time I was away from her...Sadly, I know she didn't miss me too much....Kohen told me everyday, "Mommy, I kept her safe and didn't let any of the kids touch her or get in her face".....What a great big brother!.....Mimi said she did wonderful so I hope that continues......

Kresee really likes the dogs...She is very excited to see them and loves when they walk by or come up to her....She thought Hunter was pretty funny and he took the time to check her out as well...Luckily, all our dogs are older and they really don't care much about the kids and really stay out of the way.....

Hunter loves smelling people's breath....So he had to smell him some sweet baby's breath....

And I got my pictures today from Beverly Long....Gosh, I just love looking at them...I think Kresee looks so beautiful and precious....So I had to put one up on my header:)

Sitting Around

I've been able to sit up for a little while but I sure am good at it now....Mommy doesn't have to sit behind me anymore and I really don't tip unless I get a little excited...I like this new view and try my hardest to sit up when I'm laying down, but I can't figure out how to get up quite yet on my own:)

Daddy & Me

I get real excited when I watch Daddy mow the yard....I kick and squirm everytime he passes by...So Daddy let me get on the riding lawn mower with him the other night....I had a great time and want to do it again real soon.....

That's How I Work

Kohen loves to write with his big pencil in his spiral notebook...So he was sitting on the kitchen floor today writing (he isn't allowed to leave the kitchen b/c I don't want pencil marks everywhere else in the house)....He kept doing his thinking face and tapping the lead part of the pencil on his face....

Me: "Kohen, quit putting that pencil on your face....You are marking all over your cheek"

Kohen: "Huuuuuh???"

Me: "I said you are writing on your cheek---flip the pencil around."

Kohen: "But Moooooommmmy, that is how I work!!!"

Yotes

We went to the Coyote football scrimmage last night....Kohen was super excited...Kresee could care less:)....But we had a good time visiting with friends and then all the kiddos had fun....Kohen was really pumped about wearing his brand new Coyote Football Jersey!!...He better wear it a lot since it was expensive...But it is precious and well worth the money seeing how much he loves it....Kerry insisted it be my number on the jersey and not his....I guess maybe since it's a Coyote jersey and not a Rider Raider one, he let my number be on the back!...Kresee even had a cute onesie on with a paw print....We had a great time and we can't wait for football to be in full swing...We are going to take Kohen to his first OU game this season and he is very ready:)

The Coyotes of course did not wear their brand new jerseys for the scrimmage...So they had on old ones....Kerry saw his old jersey with the #10 and it was the same one he wore 11 years ago...They had messed some up and put the Coyotes on the back instead of the front, so he knew it was the same one....

Well I'm sure if you are a mom or a dad you alreadyknow this....But did you know that red Solo cups are like the best toy ever....Give a baby a red Solo cup and they will be happy....

Hanging Out....

Mommy and Daddy went to eat dinner at Jimmy and Katie's house last Friday night....Jack and I were stuck on the floor in the bouncer and jumperoo for awhile....But we made it to the table eventually and Jack was very happy to be sitting next to me....I think he kind of likes me...I played it cool and acted like I really didn't care much for him......

Seriously.....

Ummmm, Kohen I think you are a bit too big for the jumperoo......

I'm a Good Big Brother

I love to make her laugh by blowing raspberries on her.......... And she likes for me to hold her (sometimes;)..............

I let her look at my movies...........

I give her toys when she wants them (all at once!).............

I sit outside with her and make sure she stays happy........

Dinosaur Egg

TeeTee (aka my sister) took Kohen to River Bend and bought him a dinosaur egg....He thought it was the coolest thing ever....The problem was that it took 2 days for the egg to "hatch"....He was fine waiting around on it, but he did annoy the crap out of me wanting to look at it 100 times in that 2 day period....I kept assuring him that nothing had happened but he always had to see for himself....So it finally broke free out of the egg and he was super excited about it....He loved that "He is orange with blue eyes just like Kresee and me!!!!"....He named the dinosaur Bowie (like the things in the lake that says "Slow Down-No Wake")....I guess because they are both orange (eventhough Kerry says they are red??)...But after a day, he decided he didn't like that name and named him Aladar...Very original since he got that from the main dinosaur in one of his movies....
