Red Man

We've had Red 4 weeks already!...He's doing so great and is getting along with the dogs just fine and doing well with the kids...The kids love trying to get him to lay on them...They just kind of force him but he doesn't mind...The dog is comfortable and can go to sleep in any position he's put in...

 Sugar loves brushing his teeth...She will just lick and lick all in his mouth...He just sits there and lets her do whatever...

 My favorite is this...When he wants on the bed he just rears up and stands there until someone lifts him up...When he's ready for bed, he's ready for bed...

 Here they are all 3 playing together...It's taking Ellie awhile but she's playing with him more and more...He gets a little to frisky with her and she ends up getting mad at him...He plays much easier with Sugar...

 

Kresee 3K Pictures

Every spring SLP has a wonderful photographer come and take pictures for school...I always love them...It was so cold back at the end of March when they took these and so they had to be inside...I was still determined to have her in her pretty Spring dress though!

Spring 2013 Baseball Tournament

The Rangers played in their first ever baseball tournament last weekend...We started off last Tuesday with a 6-4 win which then put us in the winner's bracket and played game #2 on Friday night...I couldn't decide if I wanted to lose and play at 8:00am Saturday morning or win and play at 2:30 pm knowing if we won again it might conflict with our 4:00 soccer game...But we ended up winning Friday night as well...We played game #3 at 2:30 and won and then made a mad dash while changing in the car to play soccer at 4:00 pm...We ate dinner and ran home for Kohen's family birthday party at 6:30 and then hit the sack...I was exhausted...We played Sunday at 12:30...If we won we were in the Championship at 5:00...If we lost we played again at 3:30...We tried hard but came up short and played for 3rd place at 3:30....It was a long, hot, exhausting weekend....But we were so proud of the boys and how they played...We are by far the youngest team in our division and they got 3rd place!!!...So awesome....

Today was Little League Day...All the teams go sit on one field together and they have a speaker and call your team and you get to walk the bases...Since the WFLL didn't give 3rd place medals (only 1st and 2nd place got one) I asked my good friend to make me 14 medals for these 14 deserving boys!...They were so excited when they found out they were getting a medal:)

 

Friend's Birthday Party

Kohen wanted a place to invite a bunch of friends..He wanted as many bags of dog food he could get..."Mommy the more friends that come, the more food we get for the dogs"...Last year we didn't even have a party for him...Just a few friends went bowling so this year we did whatever he wanted...He picked Gymnastics Sports Center...He picked a star wars lego invite off etsy because he liked his face being on the invite and we ordered him a cute Yoda lego shirt...

 We had A LOT of friends come and most all the siblings stayed which was fun....I think all the kids had a great time playing!

 My mom picked up pizza from Sam's and of course we had Sam's yummy star wars cupcakes too....

 We filled all 4 tables up!

 But seeing all this food was the best part...He was sooooo excited and happy about all the donations he was going to give TT for her PETS Pantry...And it made my heart full as well...They were running low so I know this was a much needed donation....

 This beats a bunch of presents we don't need any day!...Happy 7th Birthday sweet boy!

YMCA Beach Party 10K

Yesterday I ran the YMCA Beach Party 10K with my friend Jennifer...We forgot to take a pic but her fiance' caught one of us crossing the finish line...I'm busy stopping my runkeeper app:)...It was a pretty morning temperature wise but man that wind was not fun....We wanted a nice easy 6 miler knowing we need a good 10 mile training run tomorrow to get ready for our half in 2 weeks...It was a good run:)

 One of my friends was passing out ribbons to honor those people in Boston...I attached the blue and yellow ribbon to my race bib....I didn't get to run every day this week for the Boston folks...But I did do 6 on Sunday, 4 on Monday, 4 on Tuesday, 4 on Thursday and a 10K yesterday....

Happy 7th Birthday Kohen!!

Today we celebrate this sweet boy!

I can't believe he's already 7 and almost through with 1st grade...Breaks a mommy's heart for sure!...He is getting so big and is such a good boy...We love watching him grow every day...He has yet to lose his first tooth...Maybe 2nd grade--haha...He doesn't go to his 7 year appt until May 6th but he weighs around 45 lbs...He loves every sport there is and is playing soccer, basketball, football and baseball...Right now we are in the middle of soccer and baseball season...He loves playing outside on his bike and now his new scooter...He is reading so well and is doing great in school...He's made a 100 on every single spelling test except 1 the entire year...We are so proud of everything he learns daily:)

 

Since we needed to find an invite for his friend's party next weekend, we saw a cute star wars lego one on etsy and just stuck with that theme...He has a baseball tournament all weekend so we only did the family birthday party this evening...Here is his star wars yummy cookie cake...

We had a baseball game at 4:00, followed by a 5:00 soccer game, then straight to dinner and then straight home for cake/ice cream at 6:30...So we are all still in our soccer clothes...

Only a little sunburned from being outside non-stop and it was very warm today...

 TT got him some new roller blades that he was pretty excited about...He loves to skate and will enjoy playing with these after school...

 Grammie got him a new DS game along with a new PS3 game...he was pumped about both...

 Kerry and I got him a new electric razor scooter...He was super excited about this present since he's known about it for 2 weeks...I ran to academy to buy it and had it in the back of my car...He went out and opened my back hatch to get his baseball glove..."mom I saw that bday present for me in the back of your car"...so much for surprising him!...

 We will have his friend's party next Friday when we actually have an evening off from soccer and baseball...
