1st Day of School!!

Ugh! The first day of school has come and gone...I can't believe summer is over....Most of all, I can't believe this guy is in 1st grade...Geez...It's going too fast and I think 1st grade sounds so big...He is going to have homework and spelling tests and all kinds of new things we've never done...He did ask his teacher today "When do we get homework?"...Haha...I think they get a weekly packet every Monday to complete by Friday...So next week Kohen:)

 

He is just the cutest thing...He says he wasn't too ready to go back but I think deep down he was pretty excited...He has some great friends in his class and I bet he will have a super year...

A look back to KG--he has grown up some:)

Then where has the time gone...How can she be starting 3K...If it were up to her, she would be going to Mrs. Evan's KG class this year...I told her she has 2 more years before she can do that...Now this girl loves school and was very ready to get going again...

She definitely has changed...Her hair grew soooo much in a year's time...Her little face doesn't look so much like a little girl anymore....

Last year--KG and 2K preschool

 Going into school...She had to bring Buster, her puppy to her first day of class...

Sporting her new backpack...She had to have one b/c Kohen got a new one....

Mrs. Connel is a wonderful teacher...Kresee got to know her this summer at the summer care program and she was very excited about being in Mrs. Connel's class....

Then we headed towards Franklin...In the parking lot picture...Good thing he still doesn't mind letting me take his picture...Next year, he might care!

His new backpack...He wanted these colors with the shark on it...He has a matching lunchbox as well

 First year to have a locker...I think he's pretty excited about that!

 Mrs. Barnard is great...We love ALL the 1st grade teachers...I knew we couldn't go wrong no matter where he landed...I hope he does wonderful things for her...

 Kohen, William and Sam...They play soccer, basketball and now football together...They are all 3 in Mrs. Barnard's along with some other friends---Ben, Adam and Owen...A great group of boys!
