Since today was Halloween, the kids got to wear their costumes to school today...And they had their Halloween party at school as well...Again, I love getting to work at Franklin so I can be there for all the fun stuff in this guy's little life:)
They got to munch down on some cupcakes....
Play some limbo...He won the 2nd game and was excited about that....
They played wrap the mummy...Yes, Orlando is in 1st grade...He just looks like a 3rd grader compared to Kohen:)
Kohen loved his first art class and couldn't wait to go back...So I signed him up for the super hero class...We dropped the boys off and picked up before football practice started...He loved it and did a great job....
Kresee has been able to get a few uses out of her 2nd bumblebee costume this year...She assures us she won't be a bumblebee next year for the 3rd year in a row but a cheerleader...We shall see...I walked with her class over to the Red Door to sing some Halloween songs to the elderly over there...They had a great time...
Isn't she the cutest thing ever??
She sure loves to sing in front of people...I think her shyness definitely goes away when she's in front of a crowd....
I took the kids out to Smith's Nursery to take some pumpkin pictures...Leslie bought Kresee this cute little outfit and it was so stinking warm outside...They were both beat red an sweating and we weren't there even 15 minutes...We tried to hurry...They were so good and Kohen just kept saying..."take my picture over here...here is a great spot"
Kresee had her preschool's Fall Festival this evening...It turned out to be a great day...She was so excited to wear her bee costume #2:)
She was so excited to see us sitting there as her class walked by...Unfortunately, Kohen had to go to football practice, but Daddy, Grammie and I were still there:)
After the parade, we head over to the park for hotdogs...She was a hungry girl...
She is so precious and we really enjoy these events with her:)
Well I know everyone isn't surprised, but we finally made it official...Sugar is now our 4th dog....4 dogs again...Haven't had 4 since Summer of 2009 when we still had Biskit...But I can't imagine her going anywhere else...Her and Ellie are the best of friends...They play and play and then snuggle...Ellie would probably be a little sad if Sugar were to leave...And Kohen made a great point "If someone adopted her, she would be bad and they would return her"...I have to agree...That is a valid point...I don't think anyone would put up with her tearing up the blinds, eating every stuffed animal, swallowing all my panties and chewing everything in sight!!...So she is ours for good and we love her to pieces....Right when we got home, we went outside to take a picture of her and the kids..This is the best I could do...I just say she was so excited and couldn't be happier (with her mouth wide open)
Kresee has been writing her name for a month or two now and she's doing so well with it...This is from Papa's bday card this past Sunday...It's funny how different these two are...Kohen could have cared less at age 3 how to write his name, count, learn his sounds, etc...Kresee is so into all of that and she blows my mind what a smart little thing she is:)...She is such a little sponge and amazes me everyday!
Yesterday the firetruck and smoke house came to visit Franklin...KG and 1st grade got a presentation in the gym followed by the firetruck...They didn't get to go in the smoke house:(
After the 8am football game yesterday, I signed Kohen up for his 1st art class...We got through with football and headed straight over there...Kresee wanted to come but wasn't too sad when she got to go to Daddy's work instead..He has been wanting to go for awhile now but with something every day after school, it just wasn't possible...So when they offered a Saturday morning class, I signed up right away....They got to paint a gumball machine and he did a great job....
Presley was there as well so it was nice having her mommy there to visit with...
Kohen can not wait to go back...Hopefully we get to soon:)
We had another early 8 am game yesterday against a good Charger team...Kohen got to be one of the Captains...It was still not very light outside when we got there at 7:20 am...Yuck...My camera battery died:(, so I only got a few pictures....
Here he is kicking off....We did OK through halftime...But turned it on in the 3rd quarter and ended up beating them 33-12...We have a really good team...Kohen is lucky to be a part of it...We are 5-0 so far...
We haven't been to every football game this season...It's been hard with football practices 2-3 nights a week...Then soccer and gymnastics one day a week...Then the soccer and football games on Saturday...So having a Friday night with nothing to do is pretty amazing...But last night we went to cheer on the Coyotes and let the kids run through on the field...Their favorite part....
Last week it was rainy and so I wasn't able to take pictures for the Wolverines game...It was a good one...We won 13-12 eventhough I think we were the better team for sure...It was an 8 am game and the boys had a hard time waking and adjusting to the cold temperatures...3-0 start for the Lions
This morning we played the Leathernecks and won 20-0...
This afternoon we played the Monsters in soccer...We were down 1-0 at halftime but both Sam and Kohen scored the 2nd half...We ended up winning 3-1...They played well in the 2nd half:)
We have been married 14 years (June 10, 2000). We have one boy, Kohen, who is 8 years old and is going into 3rd grade (April 20, 2006). And then our little girl, Kresee Leigh, is 5 years old (March 5, 2009) and will be starting KG this Fall.
