The drive down was eventful as always. Between Kohen needing to know each town we were passing through starting with Henrietta and Kresee asking the entire trip "Hold me mommy?" And then the ordeal of what movie. He wanted Star Wars and she wanted Elmo. I made them compromise with Curious George.
But we finally got there and Kresee got scared immediately. She wasn't so sure about those dinosaurs anymore;) And I was determine to not have to pay for Kresee. If you are under 2, you are free. To the "super nice" ticket lady. So if I have a 2 year old (crap, already messed up) does she still need a ticket. "She's 2 or not 2?" Oh she's definitely not 2--almost like in a few weeks, but not 2 yet (I'm a horrible liar!)
As soon as the movie came on, Kohen grabbed his seat thinking he was going to fall out...We laughed at him!
Playing with the tools...
Hey, I made it into 1 picture...The thermal heat camera...That's me, Kerry and Kresee...Who knows where Kohen took off to:)...This area was all about the body and germs....In fact, Kerry made the comment that we actually found a place nastier than Chuck-E-Cheese (haha)...
Climbing through the spider web....
Looking at a tarantula...
No Kerry is not going to the bathroom (haha)...It was a balancing machine...It wasn't easy!
Kresee needed a turn on the chair...Then we had fun with her and stood her up so she looked like a drunk person:)...She thought it was funny..."I do it again"
After spending most of the day in the Science building, we wandered next door to the Nature Building to see what was in there...It was neat...All the animals were ones that could be found in Texas....
This bear was huge....

(from my phone so not so great) I needed to text it to Uncle Jayson to show him the Coyotes in the background with Kohen doing his Coyote sign:)
And Kerry couldn't get over this wolf....He was HUGE!!..and scary looking...I didn't know they could get that big....
I had to take a picture of this...Texas Mountain Lions...Did I mention Kerry and I were running back in February on the trail by the Dirt Hill and one of these bad boys ran right across our path...No, it was not a bobcat (we do know what those look like)...This was a real deal mountain lion...It was not as big as the one in the back but was larger than the one in the front of this exhibit...
We weren't in the car 5 minutes eventhough Kohen insisted he was NOT tired and they were both out!!...Slept until we finally stopped in Decatur to grab something to eat...I asked Kohen if he took a good nap...He got really mad and said "I did not take a nap, I never went to sleep"...Okay, buddie:)

This was a great spot...I laid out on the foam floor and just let Kresee play with the big blocks while the boys did all the things in the room...I was worn out!!
I made Kohen go to the bathroom before we left the museum since he had NOT gone the entire day...I mean not since we left home at 8:00 am...The kid has the most amazing bladder...Anyways, he's mad here in front of some skull....
