Premiere Lake Property

We headed up to Sulphur, OK for a weekend of family fun at Premiere Lake Property. My sister planned this trip and it was such a great idea. 24 of us rented out 3 cabins on this small private lake and we basically had it all to ourselves. It was amazing weather and the kids had an absolute blast. We got there Friday afternoon and Kresee fished and fished but didn't catch anything. She was determined though and ended up with 7 fish on Saturday. Kohen fished some but enjoyed kayaking by himself and riding in the canoe a lot.

Nana enjoying the hammock. Kerry and I laid in it a lot as well.

We hope to make this a yearly trip. Either here or somewhere with similar things to do.

LAST Day of 2nd Grade

Well this week was a hard one for this guy. Going to June 6th is just wrong. Haha. But he survived and I can't believe my baby boy is going to be a 3rd grader. I always knew I didn't want Kresee going to KG because that meant Kohen would be in 3rd grade:( Just sounds so old. He lost his first two teeth right before school started and didn't lose anymore the whole year! He definitely has grown taller but maybe only gained 2 lbs the whole year. He has improved so much in all his sports in a year's time. And he made straight A's again all school year and I'm so proud of him being the top reader in his class for the 2nd year in a row. I know he will continue to do great things in 3rd grade.
Last day picture with both kids. Kohen was excited it was free dress day (they don't get many of those) and had to wear his Kevin Durant shirt. Kresee was out of school already and got to spend the day at a friend's house!

Last Tball Game

Tonight was Kresee's last tball game for the Astros. She had an absolute blast and loves tball. She can't wait for the Fall. She did really well and does a good job hitting and fielding the ball. Kohen really loved being a 'coach' whether he was out on the field helping or coaching 3rd base.
Luckily, I got to help out in the dugout. I can't not be helping in some capacity so the dugout is where I like to be.
Kerry got to coach some too when the head coach had other games he was coaching. He too enjoys  helping out as much as possible.

This was a sweet group of kids. I'm glad I decided to let her go ahead and play vs waiting another whole season because she truly loved every minute of it.

Coyote Soccer Party

We had the boys soccer party today over at Adam's house. I'm thankful they have a pool and let us come over and hang out. We had a really good season and were 6-4. 2 of our losses were super close 1-0 and 2-1. We made good progress and I continue to enjoy coaching mainly the same group of boys every season. We always have 3-4 new players it seems like that come and go. But Kohen, Adam, Orlando, Sam, Miles, William have been around for several seasons. A group of them are going to try out indoor soccer this summer so that should be fun.
Kresee enjoys the boy's party too:)

Silly Girl

Kerry keeps trying to talk Kresee into saying she has green eyes like him. I assure them that she has blue but does have that yellow coloring right around the pupil. Kerry has more yellow than she does but it's definitely there. They both have gorgeous eyes either way. Can't believe I didn't have any 'poopoo brown' eye kids (what Kerry calls me eyes).
The other day she had to sit in time out in her chair. I realized after awhile she was really quiet. I looked and saw she got under her chair and took a nice little nap. Haha
Take my picture mommy. She is a mess.

Red

I was sitting in the computer room and Red was looking so handsome. He follows me everywhere I go and never leaves my side:) He runs into me a lot now. I stop and he bumps into me. He is right under my feet and I have to be careful not to step on him. He is doing amazing and continues to become more spunkier and playful.

Flames

The boys are 7-0 at the YMCA. Played the Flames tonight and won 27-6. Kohen scored 5 points. We are excited for the playoffs coming up in a few weeks!
