Basketball Practice

Kohen's summer league practices a long time and this girl patiently plays on my phone or ipad without too much complaining. She and this little brother are too cute and they like to play together too. We are sometimes there for 2.5 hours and she does great. Tonight they were running sprints at the end and Maurice let her join the boys; it was too cute....

 Then Kerry had to line up and get in on the action and show the boys how slow they all are. I was afraid he might pull a muscle. I'm sure he will be sore tomorrow!

Gaylord Anniversary Trip

We were finally able to get away for our 13th anniversary. Since we didn't get to celebrate it last month, we were looking forward to a nice weekend together. We somehow ended up with an awesome room in the tower and I don't think I can go back to a normal room now!

 We love this place because you can hang out and not do much of anything which is what we like. We had our anniversary dinner at the steakhouse; Kerry's favorite because he gets his once a year lamb chops. They always throw in a complimentary dessert.

 We realized these cabanas from last year are really worth the money. Having your own little area and hanging out in it all day with your own waitress is great. We were out there from the time they opened until we decided we should go eat some dinner:)

 They have a firework show every Friday night and since we had an amazing view it was a perfect spot to watch from our window.

On Saturday as we headed home, we stopped in at one of those dine in movies for lunch. So we ate lunch and watched a movie in some really comfy chairs. We had a great time as always and look forward to next year!

Yoga

I took the kids to a Yoga class today. They were pretty excited about it. SLP has yoga so Kohen did it in preschool some and I guess Kresee has as well. It was super cute sitting back and watching them. They did great!

Happy 1 year!

Today we celebrate Ellie's 4th birthday and 1 year with our family. She was scheduled to be PTS (put to sleep) on the 15th so we thought it was fitting we made it her birthday. She has been such a great addition to our family and I can't imagine not having her. She has brought so much joy to my heart and we love her very much. We are thankful she is ours!!

Grammie's Bday

Last night we celebrated Grammie's birthday at Texas Roadhouse with the family. We always have a large group for our Saturday night dinners which I'm thankful for. I know mom enjoyed having us all there but it was hard and sad knowing Papa was missing her bday for the 1st time ever. We love you Grammie.

PETS Pancakes

We were up super early this morning so we could go help TT with a PETS fundraiser at Applebee's. People bought tickets to come and eat some pancakes and the kids always love to help volunteer.

 They got to help seat people and they also helped some with the waiters. I was supposed to wait tables but I ended up helping the kids sell $1 raffle tickets. And they ended up selling 125 of them!! Who could turn down their sweet faces. I was super proud of them:)

 TT was interviewed for the news and Kresee got to be on TV. She thought that was pretty neat.

 And after it was all over, they each got to enjoy some pancakes of their own.

YMCA Summer League

Kohen had his 1st YMCA Summer league basketball game tonight. They are mainly 2nd graders and playing against 4th graders:)...So we knew they would be big but it was kind of entertaining. Our boys played great eventhough they didn't get a single rebound....I think he's going to learn a lot playing with such a talented group of kids....
