Christmas #1

Grandpa Randy and Sallye came over yesterday afternoon to kick off our 1st of many Christmases over the next few days....The kids were really excited to finally open a present...And Dad and Sallye never let 'em down:)
A cool Red River NM sweatshirt:)...haha...It looked familiar since she just bought it for him 2 days ago!....
Sallye helping Kresee open her book....
My sister had the kids yesterday for the afternoon...She painted a puppy and a frog on her face...Kohen was painted but I had already washed off his mask....
Kohen got a huge cage wrestling ring with a bunch of wrestling guys....It was awesome and he was so excited...Part of his gift is to take him in February to a real wrestling match...He is going to LOVE that.....
Kresee opening her big ole gift...She loves anything art...crayons, markers, paint, stickers, etc...They got her the nicest easel with a chalkboard on one side and dry erase board on the other...It also came with a big roll of paper...And they stocked her with markers, more paper, chalk, and paint:)...She will be set!
They got me the cutest OU boots ever!!...I love, LOVE them!!
Kohen was being a stinker and not cooperating during a quick picture...I had to take several...He was too busy trying to look at the Boise State game on the TV....
The kids were up this morning and right back at their gifts from last night...Bad mommy for not paying attention to Kresee while she expo markered the chalkboard...I got a wet washrag and was able to get most of it off...So we had a little talk about the differences and what we use on each side...I'm sure it will happen again:).....She is in love though with it!
Thanks Dad and Sallye...Merry Christmas!

Bulls #3

Kohen had his 3rd basketball game today...He played one of of the boys that plays on our soccer team--Shooting Stars....It was a close game the whole time and they all did really well....
Kohen is quite the little dribbler...In fact, he seems to get the ball every throw-in...He does a great job dribbling down the entire court, but then gets down there and turns to shield the ball...
Like this....We kept telling him that he had to be aggressive and dribble right on through to the net...He did better towards the end of the game after Kerry talked to him at half-time...
Lining up for a free throw...1st time he's done this...Of course the shortest one out there is the one closest to the rim--haha....
They have now tied one and lost 2...They only lost 7-5 this game...It was super close and was a lot of fun...They are understanding the game more and doing much better:)...Kohen was really close to scoring a basket a few times, but nothing went in....Great job Kohen...

Christmas Caroling

On the last day of school Kohen's KG class got to Christmas Carol around the school the last 30 minutes of the day....I just happen to stumble upon them right when they were getting started...My camera was still in my car from Kresee's Christmas Play so I went and grabbed get to get a few pictures....
Then they went into the cafeteria to sing for the 6th graders since they were at lunch....
It was really cute watching all of them...They had a great time and loved singing for the entire school:)

SLP Christmas Play

Kresee had her 1st SLP Christmas performance...Kerry and I have had the pleasure of seeing this the past 2 years with Kohen (he was the innkeeper both years)...After her outstanding dance performance the other night, I was hoping she would do well today....
Here she is just walking in and she spotted us...She was the prettiest little angel:) Jack was the innkeeper...But he spotted his momma and lost it:(...Poor guy!

Mary and Joseph asking the Innkeeper if there was any room....

The 2 little angels waiting on their part of the story...
Kresee running to bring baby Jesus to the manger

Putting baby Jesus in the manger

Then the angels went to tell everyone that Jesus was born....

After her wonderful performance:), we snapped a quick pic of us with our angel....

Christmas Dance Recital

Kresee had her 1st little dance recital on Wednesday at Rolling Meadows retirement home....I built it up all day long trying to make a big deal about how she was going to perform for all of us...We never get to see her dance at class so she acted excited about Kohen and Daddy and Grammie coming to watch her....

Luckily, when we got there the teachers took them away from us...We went and stood in the very back allowing the people who lived there to sit in all the seats...Kohen and Jude ended up going and sitting on the carpet on the 1st row with Meme and Big Papa...But mom and I got close seats when it started....

Here they are bringing them out and lining them all up...

I honestly thought she would see us and come running...I just knew she would climb up and sit in someone's lap and not want to participate...But since she surprised me with Santa's visit, I shouldn't underestimate her:)....Here she is looking for us....She did see us immediately and just smiled and waved...My friend Ashley videotaped it for me and I'm so glad b/c she was soooo stinking cute....

Here is Ezra (who Ashley thought would cry as well, but did awesome too!!)

Kresee did every single dance move the entire song....She loved being up there and performing...She is so shy and I was so proud of her....

Here are some sweet ones of Ezra....

Kresee dancing her little heart out:)

They actually performed 3 times...I didn't take any pictures the 2nd song...But then the whole group came out at the end to sing "we wish you a merry christmas"

I can honestly say that I've been wondering what in the world I'm doing paying this much $$ each month for stinking 2 year old dance lessons...BUT after seeing and watching this, I think it's been $$ well spent...You knew she loved it and loved being up there...Made my heart smile....She is such a sweet girl!!
