Sunday Update

last week was a good week. Although I still did not feel 100% because I can NOT kick this cold/drainage crap, I did well on my running. Angela and I did 7.5 long miles on the treadmill last Sunday. Then I still managed to get 2 good runs in during the week and 2 zumba classes. It makes me very happy when I can still fit zumba into my week.

So yesterday was a pretty day and we got our long run in and I hope to run a lot more this week outside in the pretty, pretty weather!!

Another one...

Another snow day....But it doesn't appear so bad outside, so I know we will be back tomorrow for sure...Trying to enjoy today with the kids...Eventhough my house already looks like this....
But food is in the crockpot for dinner and hanging out in my pj's is nice...
Kohen likes to be cross-eyed...I've yet to say "You're eyes are gonna get stuck like that:)"...

I don't know why the stairs are so entertaining...They get in trouble often for thinking it's a great place to play....

Sunday Update

Well the weather last week put a little damper on my running...AND I was sick and that wasn't fun either....I didn't do my usual Saturday long run and instead went to Zumba...I ran today instead...But was happy to get in 2 runs last week on the boring treadmill...I've never ran more than 2 or 3 miles on the treadmill until last week....I don't know how people do it....

Angela met me up at the gym today for our long run of 7.5 miles, but that will count for this week's total...I was happy she went because although it didn't make it easier, but made it doable with her right there having someone to talk to while you are running for what seems like forever...

23 Months

In one short month, this little sweetie will be 2 years old!!!! I can't really belive her birthday is almost here...And I haven't even thought about planning anything quite yet...Kohen's first soccer game is on her actual birthday, Saturday March 5th and I need to wait and see what his schedule looks like before I decide if I want to do a little party with a few of her friends or just do a family party only...

She just continues to be a little talker...Every day something new pops out of her mouth and makes me smile...Lately everything is "Look Mommy" or "Daddy watch this"...She is still loving the songs Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and the ABCs, but now loves singing E-I-I-I-O, she can't do the E-I-E-I-O and Happy Birthday....

She is doing so good on her counting and even is getting better at some of her colors....She sure acts like she wants to be potty-trained but I don't take her very seriously...Who knows, maybe something will happen in the next month?!?! But I learned my lesson with Kohen to not really care about it at this young age....

She really enjoys if you get hurt and she loves to say "Hurt Mommy, you OK?" and will give me kisses all over....

And her newest thing that I just love is all her pretending...She has such a good little imagination already...She loves to "make" you cookies and will bring you some..."You want more Mommy?" and her babies have the best little mommy already and she takes such good care of them:)

So I hope this month goes by slowly, I'm not ready for her to be 2 yet:(

Snow Day

First day of February meant no school because of the lovely winter weather...I didn't mind since I've been fighting this cold for a week now and today I felt bad again...I'm blaming it on lying around doing absolutely nothing the entire day...I did brush my teeth and put on my contacts...But have yet to do anything else today....

The dogs have not enjoyed themselves...peeing all on our back porch vs going into the yard...After awhile Parker ventured out into it to run around a little...I remember living in OKC and she would go nuts running around in the snow...She loved it...But now the almost 10 year old only lasted a few minutes......

Kresee was dying to go outside since she saw Daddy and Kohen head out the doors...It takes me forever to get her dressed...Such an ordeal....But we got it together and she made it a little while so I guess it was worth it....

Kohen's sweet little face already starting to get red...It was so stinking windy out there....

Poor thing could barely even walk....

Then we moved out to the front yard...Kohen felt he needed to make it all the way to the Coyote sign in our yard....

And now that dinner has been eaten and Daddy is home....Kohen is getting dressed to go out one more time before the sun goes down...They just said on the news it feels like -4 outside right now! Oh and school is cancelled again tomorrow...So we get to do today all over again tomorrow:)

Wildcat Hockey

Friday was Teacher Appreciation night at the Hockey Game....We've only been once and Kohen really had a great time...So I thought we would take the kids back...We had great seats (thanks to Kyle)...Only about 4 rows up from the rink.... Kresee clapped and danced the whole time:)

After a little bit, we moved on down to the very front row and the kids thought it was great...Stomping on the metal floor and banging on the glass...And the best was when the hockey players smashed into it right in front of you!

Mornings

The kids both love morning time especially if mommy or daddy still happens to be in bed...They climb on in and snuggle up...So I took a sweet picture of them hanging out with Daddy...Don't you love Kresee's hair...When I take her pigtails out at night, the next morning her hair still sticks out straight to the side:)
