Last Soccer Game

Kohen played his last soccer game today against the Spiders...He knew a few of the boys on the other team b/c he goes to school with him, so that was fun...He jhad been looking forward to this game the whole season...It was only 39 degrees outside!!

He played so good...Kerry and I are so proud of the progress he made all season...He got better and better every game...He is sad that it's over, but I said next season will be here soon enough...

He scored 2 goals today!!!....This was one of them...Kerry, Kohen and I work on goal kicks and corner kicks at home...He stood there just like we practiced...Grant kicked it straight to him, he trapped it and kicked it right in...He was so proud of himself....
We won the game, so it was nice ending the season with a win....
The most exciting part was getting the trophy...He was so happy!!!...His first trophy...I had to listen the whole way home of all the different options there were for the trophy in his room...I think we decided on getting a shelf and putting it up on the wall...Might be a good Christmas gift...
He didn't understand why the guy was upside down....I have yet to explain a bicycle kick to him:)
Kohen and his best bud Reid....
We were supposed to have team pictures last week, but since Kohen missed the game b/c he was home throwing up we took a quick pic of all the boys....I actually think it turned out great since they had their trophies and were so happy about them!!!
Kohen---Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you!!...You had a great first soccer season...You had a great first experience playing a sport!!...We can't wait to see you in t-ball, basketball, football...Whatever you want to try, we can't wait:)....We love you sweet boy!

Christmas Magic

Since Kohen was home sick on Saturday afternoon, Kresee then had to be my date to Christmas Magic...I had originally bought 2 tickets to the Santa Workshop thing and really was just going to leave her at home with Kerry and bring Kohen....Instead we had a girls afternoon out....
I knew Santa was NOT going to happen with Kresee this year...I was not going to attempt it at all with the kids...I figured I will end up taking Kohen at some point to the mall or something...But since this Santa was there with no line, I thought she MIGHT let me go up there with her and hold her and sit next to him for a picture....But she lost it...Wanted no part of him...Again, I was not surprised
Poor Santa tried---he's even holding out his hand to her to let her touch him, but no way!

She found out how great (and sticky and yucky) candy canes are....
She LOVED all the trees and felt the need to touch every stinking ornament:)
Cheeeeese!
We had a good time...She did great riding around in her stroller while I looked at all the booths...The problem was early we passed the shop with the puppy dogs in those little purses...She would not stop saying "puuuppppy doggie"...I mean it went on for a long time and I finally went and bought the stinking $17 puppy in a purse and she was completely happy after that!!...But she loves him and sleeps with him every night and takes him to Mimi's everyday..

Rider--Old High

Yes, I still have to say Rider-Old High....Kerry will always say Old High-Rider....Anyways, this took place last Friday (pre-sickness)....

I took Kohen to the pep rally Friday afternoon....He held his ears most of the time b/c it was so loud....He did love all the music the cheerleaders and dance team performed to...His favorite song right now is Willow Smith's "I Whip my Hair Back" or something like that....And they played that a few times...He really got into the music:)
He did get to walk out with the football players....(too dark to even see them)
And he got to sit on the floor with the players....
Ok, can you smile for me boys??....This is what I get....Goofballs!
We got home and got everything together for the cold game....
Kresee hanging out in her stroller...I had to bring it in so it could hold all the bags of warm clothes...
Waiting to go down onto the field...
High-fiving the players before the game....
Saying hi to the Coyote mascot down on the field....

All Kohen cared about was who I was cheering for??..."Mommy, are you cheering for the Coyotes or Rider Raiders? You need to cheer for the Coyotes"...So I agreed to cheer for them knowing they would need all the help they could get:)

Not fun

Our past few days have not been fun in our house....The stomach virus has been rampant at Kohen's preschool...We managed to make it the entire week healthy....We went to the Rider-Old High game on Friday night...Kerry and Kohen stayed the whole game...But at 4am Saturday morning, poor Kohen started throwing up....A LOT....But by 7:00, he was over the throwing up part...He just did a lot of this the rest of Saturday....Kresee went to work with Kerry the entire morning and then I took her to Christmas Magic Saturday afternoon trying to keep her out of the house and away from sick Kohen....
He didn't eat all day Saturday, but was keeping fluids down...By Saturday evening, he was feeling a little better....Sunday was good...He even felt fine enough to have his Fall picture made with Kresee (that have been scheduled for 2 months now)....We got dressed and headed that way at 3:00....But as soon as we got home, he layed on the couch for a quick nap....Kohen and Grammie went to the circus that night while Kerry, Kresee and I stayed home....Thank goodness she didn't go....At 8:00, while being put to bed, she started throwing up...So I had a horrible night of sleep Sunday night because she is not fun to sleep with...She hadn't thrown up since 2 am and seemed to be having a good day yesterday....I stayed home from work with her just to make sure....She ate well and acted fine most of the day....So I figured she was good to go since Kohen's was short-lived....I, thankfully, was glad I was the home with her because I felt awful yesterday....My head/neck hurt so bad...I was very queasy and just felt bad, but never threw up...I even went to bed at 6:00 pm yesterday b/c I was exhausted from taking care of her all day since she was back to normal and I couldn't lay around with her....

I got up this morning to go to work....I'm not 100% but feeling a lot better than yesterday...I knew I couldn't miss another day of work....I dropped off healthy Kresee at Mimi's house...Took Kohen to school and was preparing for my whole day of therapy with the kiddos when I got the text that Kresee was throwing up AGAIN....I couldn't believe it...So here she is in there watching Baby Einstein while I'm in the study trying to get some work done...But I guess I'm OK with not being at work since I don't feel great still...I'm just hoping there is no more throwing up and that Kerry stays healthy!!!

Lots of Soccer:)

Kohen and I both had soccer games on Halloween....Of course they were at the same time as well....I wasn't able to watch but just a few minutes of his game before I headed over to mine...Luckily, our neighbor came to watch Mitchell and realized Kohen was on the team as well...So she took lots of pictures for Deatra and I....And these aren't all of them...Just posted some!!
Mitchell, Chaithan and Kohen

His shoe fell off and Kerry finally had to go out there and help him out....

Kerry doing a little coaching....

Kresee loves sitting on the sideline...Whatever I'm yelling, she's yelling it too....Cracks me up

Isn't this too funny???

Mitchell found a bug.....

Kresee 0f course is drinking out of Kohen's water bottle when hers is sitting right there....

Justin and Kohen have the best time playing together...When we go to family dinners I think we have to get on to Justin as much as we do Kohen...Kohen thinks the world of him!
