18 mos./Labor Day Weekend

Kresee turned 18 mos this past Sunday...I was waiting to post b/c we had our appointment with Dr. Yap this week but it had to be rescheduled...I will just have to post her height/weight in a few weeks when we finally go....Kresee is officially a mommy as I have posted about her love for her new baby:)...But my mom topped it all off with this baby crib...It was mine when I was a little girl and she thinks it might be the greatest thing ever....She sits in it constantly...Changes her baby's diaper and feeds her and puts her to bed every night in this thing...But really she just loves sitting in it...Her new favorite phrase is "Mommy I stuck"...She gets in and has trouble climbing out...I think eventually the thing might break b/c it is VERY old (haha)....

I pulled out Kohen's skunk costume that he wore when he was 18 mos old...Kresee thinks its great...Kerry says she needs to be a skunk for Halloween...We did re-use Kohen's costume when she was a lion last year...Maybe if I took off that red bowtie and added something to make it a little more girly...She loves wearing this around the house:)
We spent her 1.5 yr bday at the lake...It was great because Kresee and I didn't do a darn thing the whole Labor Day weekend....The boys didn't get to do much either b/c the boat broke, then the pontoon boat messed up, then the seadoo ran over a rope and it messed it up...So we were down to one sea-doo...
Maw put Kenzie's hair in pigtails so Kresee needed some....

Kresee is mesmorized by baby Lexie...She wanted to hold her...She is actually very good and doesn't really even touch her...I think being at Mimi's house with other babies, she knows she is supposed to leave them alone (I don't know why these are sideways?? Kerry must have turned the camera??)
The boys hanging out watching Star Wars.... It was like a freaking Star Wars marathon and they watched it constantly!
And let me give you the story of this picture...Because I know you are wondering why in world I have a picture of a bunch of booties;)....When Kohen was just a tiny little guy (about 3 mos old), Jaxson was only 1.5 yrs old....One day outside on the porch at the lake, Jaxson was running around naked....So Papa dropped his drawers and we took off Kohen's diaper for the famous "butt shot"....It still hangs on Maw and Papa's refrigerator....We meant to do it last year when the girls were babies, but never did??...So this year Maw and Papa really wanted a butt shot with all 5 grandkids...Turned out pretty cute!!....It is a little weird me taking a picture of my Father-in-laws butt (Haha)

Getting Closer

ETA---next Tuesday or Wednesday ....So this time next week, we may have some chickens hatching...But it can take up to 24 hrs for them to completely break out of their shell and then you aren't supposed to mess with them until they are dry...

Last week Kerry did the first candle-ing...I'm not really sure how you spell that...But that's what they did in the old days...But the eggs over a candle to see the embryo growing inside...You are supposed to do this a few times to make sure they are developing correctly...There are things you are looking for...Things that Kerry knows and that I honestly don't care about :)...I'm just the photographer and all I care about is the end result!

Meme and Big Papa came over tonight to check them out again...Out of the 9 eggs, we have 6 that are for sure doing great...There are 3 maybe's...SO hopefully we will have at least 5 or 6 baby chicks....

Presley's 5th

We stayed behind on Friday night, instead of heading to the Lake, so that we could go to Miss Presley's 5th birthday party...Kohen had a great time...And when no one was bothering her, Kresee enjoyed herself as well (haha)...The kids even got in the chilly pool for a little bit....Kresee handled it better than Kohen!

Bday girl!...Her cake was adorable...I missed them taking the Barbie out of the top..But Kresee and I shared 2 pieces!!
Kresee and a little guy her same size playing ball...
Most of the kiddos....
Kohen, Carsen and Koyt....They had a blast playing soccer with each other:)

Kresee stealing the volleyball for a little bit....
Crystal did get in a quick picture with Miss Anti-Social...She was about to lose it here, but held it together long enough for me to snap the picture...

Again, we had so much fun that we left Kohen's life jacket and swim suit behind...Good thing we have plenty more so we didn't need it for the lake the next day!!

Coyotes vs Lawton MacArthur

Coyotes had another Thursday night football game last week...The boys made it home earlier than last time since the lightening ended the game early...As always, the kids had a blast running around on the field prior to the game:)

4K Preschool

Kohen went today for his first day of 4K school...He has been waiting for this day for awhile now (like ever since he turned 4)...Thank goodness he is towards the end of the year or he would have been having some major issues knowing he turned 4 in the Fall and was still in the 3 yr old class all year....He has Ms. Erica and we are very excited about it...We have only heard wonderful things about her and several of his friends were in her class last year:)
On the way to school this morning, I let him know that I did want to take a few pictures...."Mommy, can you take them outside?"....What do you mean Kohen?...."Like not in my classroom"....OMG, are you embarrassed about me taking your picture!!....He just smiled really big....

Daddy walking him in....
Me making him look for ONE picture....
And then from last year:) when he wasn't embarrassed of me!!

I realized after I snapped these, I had not set the setting but oh well...I did take two pictures inside and he didn't know it:)

Football Shirt

aBc Children's Designs made this shirt for Kohen...Now you know I LOVE etsy...They have sooo many super, duper cute things for girls....The boys seem a little more limited....But I have to say that I absolutely fell in love with this football shirt when I saw it and I had to get Kohen one...We got it in the mail yesterday...I had it done in long-sleeve so he is good to go for the Coyote football games when it gets cooler...Check out her shop:)
