Tent Time

I made a "tent" for Kohen the other day and he had a blast as usual...Kresee was a little scared of going in it...She preferred getting on top of the sheet and sitting on it thus making Kohen lose it because she kept "ruining my tent"...But once she got brave enough to go inside she thought it was super fun:)

15 mos Check-Up

Kresee had her 15 mos. appt with Dr. Yap today....She weighed in at 19.12 lbs (after 3 attempts)...Dr. Yap thought she should be more than that since she was 19.2 at her 12 mos. appt....But that put her in the 10% for weight....She was 30.5 inches long and since she grew in length and head circumference, he wasn't too concerned with her weight??...I don't know....The girl eats and she looks fine to me...So I looked back and Kohen was only 21.2 (1.5 lbs heavier) at 15 mos....She got one shot and you would have thought it killed her...She is so dramatic...She came home and took a 2.5 hr nap...Woke up and realized that she still had a band-aid...SO if she even looked at the band-aid she would cry...So my mom put shorts on her to cover it up...Then she would lift up her shorts and start crying...So I took the stupid band-aid off and made her go outside to forget about the stinking shot!!!
Her hairdryer and brush came with a curling iron, a straightener, bottle of perfume, lipstick and one single roller...So she loves letting me put this in her hair...Just keeps patting her head to make sure it hadn't fallen out....
And nooooooooo, I'm not trying to potty train her....Far, far, far from that...But she is very interested in the whole thing...Loves to say "pee-pee" when you go to the restroom...But this morning, she obviously went in her diaper...So she grabs herself and says "peepee"...I said do you need to go on the potty...She shakes her head yes and runs to the bathroom...I took off her diaper and she had the best 15 mins of sitting on the potty, then getting off, then getting on, etc....Until I made her get off to put a diaper on her and she threw a big 'ole fit.....

St. Lucia--10 year Anniversary

Kerry and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary this past Thursday on June 10th at the lovely Sandals resort in St. Lucia....(For my sake, I am going to write down everything we did so feel free just to scroll through the pictures!!)

So we left the kiddos behind on Saturday afternoon...Headed to OKC to spend the night since our flight was at 5:30 am Sunday morning....It was hard leaving them knowing I wouldn't be putting them to bed for many nights...We ate dinner at yummy Poblano Grill....Checked in the hotel and then drove down the street to the airport so we could see where the long-term parking was and that way we knew where to go in the dark the next morning!

We woke up at 3:30 in the morning and was at the airport by 4:00...Thank goodness we got there when we did because it took longer than we expected....I was the idiot who put everything in my carry on bag (for the hotel) so when I went through security, unfortunately my bags did not make it....They had to throw away my lotion, sunscreen, facewash, and shampoo...They tested my contact solution and let me keep it for medicinal purposes...So not a great way to start our vacation!..haha....

We boarded a very tiny plane and headed to Atlanta, GA...Luckily, we had an hour until our next flight after we landed....That airport is HUGE....We grabbed a quick bite---a blueberry bagel for me and Kerry got a McDonald's biscuit....Kerry and I were not sitting together...I was on Row 11 and he was on Row 31...She was not able to change me, but moved me to Row 33 so I was at least closer to him....Luckily, the whole plane were honeymooners and no one was sitting together...So everyone switched and moved....Kerry and I both got inside aisles seats...So at least we could visit!!.....This plane was huge and we each had our own TV for our 4.5 hr flight to St. Lucia....

We arrived early afternoon in St. Lucia and then stood in the customs lines for about an hour and got on a little van that held 4 couples for a 1.5 hr drive to the resort....Talk about probably one of the TOP scariest things that I've ever done! They only have one road on the entire island...Just a big circle that loops around....It is up and down hills and mountains....90 degree turns...No guardrails...They drive on the opposite side of the road....But our driver not only drove crazy fast, he thought it was necessary to make insane passes along the way....We were on a freaking race in his mind....We somehow all made it in one piece to the resort!!

Since we had one little thing to eat all day, we were starving....They showed us to the Concierge Lounge and immediately served us their specialty, Rum Punch...We got to our room and had to wait on our luggage...But decided to walk around and found the pizza place (one of the things we ate EVERY day b/c they were soooo good)...Went back up to the room and got unpacked and headed down to eat dinner at the Old London Pub restaurant....Sundays are their busy day of departures and arrivals....So it was very low key night....We had the whole pool and hot tub to ourselves that Sunday night....But we didn't stay up to late and hit the sack....
Our view from our balcony....

Unfortunately, my body did not understand it was on vacation and still managed to wake up between 8 and 8:30....So 7 or 7:30 our time....We had room service for breakfast on Monday morning....We went and worked out...I said we would at least 2 times and we did:)....We got a spot on the beach (in the shade) and stayed there most of the day....We ate at the Barefoot restaurant for lunch because it's right on the beach and pizza for our late afternoon snack....
There was a beach party that Monday night, and they had so much food....We were laying in one of the hammocks before it started....It was fun...Then a big performance with some dancers....And the limbo...Kerry was called up on stage for that....Out of the 8 guys he was definitely the best....I took my crappy camera so it didn't want to take any in the dark...This was the best I could do....

Then they had some flame dancing....And they picked 3 men in the audience to do this!!...And Kerry got picked AGAIN!!...Isn't he crazy?????...And yes, I'm behind him taking pictures with my crappy camera (haha)....

Then we both got called up for a boy vs. girls contest....The boys won 4 out of the 5 times!

Tuesday we ate breakfast in one of the restaurants...They had a great buffet every morning....Then we rented a cabana right on the beach for 4 hrs....It was perfect...I wish we would have known how great it was going to be or we would have booked one for each day!!

Our cabana view....

Tuesday night we had dinner at Jazmins...They are only open on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday...So we needed to not miss out on the amazing Japanese/Chinese food....Sushi for appetizers...All the sake you wanted (I did NOT drink any of that stuff)...Egg drop soup and salad...Then tons of food served family style....Kerry said the beef was awesome and he would have eaten that every night!

Every morning while sitting out on the balcony, we would hear the canons fire...Then this pirate looking ship would appear...I guess it was one of the excursion/trips you could take...

We went during their rainy season...So it rained for a few minutes a couple of times each day....But Wednesday, they even said it was pretty uncommon....It rained very hard most of the morning (thank goodness we didn't have a cabana that day)....And we lucked out because we had massages booked for that morning out in their garden area...I wasn't too pleased that we got stuck outside thinking it was going to be super hot and humid...But the rain was so soothing and you could feel the mist of it hit you during the massage....That was a great 80 minute massage.....We had our usual pizza for lunch and ate dinner at the Barefoot Restaurant...On the way, they stopped us for a few pictures.....We are holding our favorite drink, a BBC (Bailey's, Banana and Cream)....

After dinner, a couple was playing and singing love songs up on the pool balcony...We rounded the corner to hear "Amazed" by Lonestar....That was our first dance at our wedding, so we stopped and started dancing...Even got a few other couples to join us...Then we just laid out on the pool lounge chairs and enjoyed the music....Later, they had various culture dancers....But we only watched for a few minutes because we were pretty worn out!

Thursday morning we had room service for breakfast....We worked out, went and hung out in the pool...Attempted a nap...I remember laying down at 1:30 and at 2:02 was woken up by some loud noise...So neither of us was able to go back to sleep...So we got up and went back down to the pool...

We had our pictures taken that afternoon at 5:15...It was short and quick (just the way Kerry likes pictures!)

Our last night there was Thursday night, which was our 10 year anniversary...The whole reason we went on this trip....So we booked a Candlelight dinner on the beach...It was amazing...The food was awesome....4 course meal....Kerry ate lamb for the first time and in his words it was "exquisite"!...It was such a beautiful night and we got to enjoy each other's company right on the beach....It was fun talking about the past 10 years and all that we've accomplished or done in that amount of time...From college, to our house, jobs, kids, etc.....Couldn't have been more perfect:)

No joke when I say in 2015 we are going somewhere!!...We talked a lot about how fun it would be to take a trip with some other couples...So start saving up and join us!!!!!

And I had to take a picture of the kiddos names in the sand...Kohen really wanted me to do this...Going to frame them and hang in their "beach-themed" bathroom...

15 Months

This sweet baby girl is 15 months old!

Grammie got her a hair dryer because we went to play with Presley last week and Kresee fell in love....
Kerry asked her this morning...Do you want to get down from the bed? shakes head No....Do you want to eat breakfast? shakes her head No....Do you want to watch Baby Einstein? shakes her head Yes
So he laid some pillows in the floor and she hung out:)

She is starting to talk so much more...Will pretty much mimic any word you tell her to say...Yesterday her new word was water (wa-wa)...Today was window (sounded like mu mu) and outside (ow ow)....But she has some new ones like mimi, puppy (pu-pu), move (moooo)--she tells this one to the dogs constantly along with get (de de), can say moo for a cow and ooh ahh like a monkey....I love this age where they do really start playing more with their voice and using words...I remember Kohen was such a sponge and by 18 months, he had 70 words....I remember writing them all down...I will have to pull that out in a few months:)....
She still only has her 2 bottom teeth and 2 top teeth...But another top is starting to poke through and the other side is pretty close as well....
So Kerry and I are heading to OKC tonight to catch our 5:30 am flight to St. Lucia in the morning...Can't wait to get there and celebrate our 10 year anniversary!....I will miss the kiddos like crazy...But I know my mom especially is looking forward to getting the kids for a lot of quality Grammie time:)

Coyote Football Camp

Kohen "attended" the Coyote Football Camp this week....Yes, we were out there Tuesday through Friday at 6:00 for an hour and a half.....We made him leave early since it wasn't over until 8:30 each night....He participated in little bits...But on this night, he just mainly played in the dirt and watched....He enjoyed it so much last year that he was really excited about going again....And what a neat opportunity for this little guy:)
And Kresee enjoyed the heat...She just walked around and played in the grass/dirt....She would go back and forth over this little side of concrete on the track...
Tonight we stayed indoors to help out with the pizza party the boys get to have on the last night of the camp...So we didn't get too disgusting today!!

Blog Book

So I ordered my blog book from 2008 maybe 2 weeks ago....And I got it in the mail today...Was so excited about it...Now I can't wait to get my 2009 one's ready to go...Figured I would split it up into 2 books....But if you haven't done one, you should!!

Memorial Weekend

We went to PK this weekend for Memorial Weekend.....I had to work on Saturday....So Kohen and Kerry headed down Friday afternoon and Kresee and I joined them Saturday around lunchtime....We had a good group of family and it was fun....This was our first trip this summer....We are really excited that Kresee is big enough now to A)wear sunscreen and be out in the sun and B) get to ride the sea-doo/boat more.....She really had a good time and of course Kohen loves being down there.....

All the cousins waiting to launch the boat....Can you see the carlot behind them....My car, Kerry's car, Shellie's car, Papa's car, Big Papa's car, Krista's car, Kay's car, Jayson's car, Laresa's car!!....It was a freaking car lot for real!!!
Maw and Kohen riding the sea-doo to Sandy Beach....

Kresee and her sun hat:)....

Sitting in the boat with Daddy at Sandy Beach....

Cousin Kenzie passed out cold in the car while loading the boat....
Kenzie and Kresee enjoyed playing in the rocks....
Playing on the blow-up in the living room....
Daddy and Kresee...

Professional Sea-Doo Rider/Driver....
Watching Daddy get everything ready for her first sea-doo ride....She made it a little while and then passed out....Kohen used to do the same thing...We would purposely go out on the sea-doo when it was his nap time so he would go to sleep:)

Since no one ever takes my picture (hint hint Kerry!), I had to take one of Kresee and I myself!

Kresee was too busy chewing on the green life jacket that I couldn't get her to look up....

Kohen had just got through tubing and I missed it...He was getting back in the boat here....
Riding in the Cozy Coupe....
Playing outside....Then my battery died and I didn't get to take anymore pictures:(...But I have a feeling we will be at the lake plenty more this summer!!
