Rocket Ship

SO I've never had trouble with my header picture....When I changed my background using shabby blogs, it has never been the same??...And I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the picture to be centered, normal sized, etc....HELP!!...I even went back to an old background---thecutestblogontheblock---thinking it would fix itself and as you can see from above, it hasn't??

I made this rocket ship a few weeks ago out of Kresee's chair box....Kerry was pulling a long weekend at work and we were bored...Has turned out to be a hit...We colored all over it....Kresee still gets inside and opens/closes the doors a hundred time in a row....Aren't boxes the best!!

Kohen thought at one point it would be the greatest thing ever if he could bring LIKE ALL HIS TOYS in the kitchen to try and get in the rocket ship...I tried telling him the thing wasn't that big!

Fun-Filled Day

Man, Easter wore me out!!....Maybe almost as much as Christmas does....I think the very, very warm temperatures didn't help...Both my kids had beat-red faces after being outside hunting Easter eggs....

The boys....Maw said to act like buddies, so they thought she said bunnies....I finally had to say act like friends.... Getting her sunscreen on....Her right ear was good to go since that's the only place she would apply it!....

I took some pictures of her before the boys came over and she became more interested in them...

She was mesmorized by the confetti eggs...Just would sit there very content picking at them for a long time;)....

Outside hunting the eggs....I got the boys silly string...Their favorites were the confetti eggs and silly string...

We let Kresee use Jack's shopping cart to do her Easter Egg hunting since she still isn't walking....She wasn't too interested with me...But when Grammie took her, she did better....

After getting super hot, we came back in to let the kids open their baskets from Maw and Papa....

Maw and Papa got the boys fishing poles in their baskets....SO they needed to go "fish" in the pool....We put life jackets on them in case one of them fell in...They decided to get in anyways...Then the girls wanted in...We let them for a little bit and they loved it...The boys swam/played for a couple of hours

We ate dinner at my Nana and Papa's house and had a little egg hunt just for Kohen...He was the "winner" eventhough he was the only kid hunting the eggs!

Kresee was DONE by the time we got home....I tried one last attempt at getting a cute picture of the kids together...This is what she thought about that....AND she kept on throwing a huge fit for the next 30 minutes....Easter wore her out as well:)...And she slept a lot at Mimi's the next day:)

Kohen's 1st Easter

I always have to look back at old pictures and so I put up a few of Kohen's first Easter....He was 11 mos old...And was so chubby!!...And walking around everywhere (unlike someone we know!!)...And it was definintely NOT warm like it was yesterday:)

Fur-Raiser

Saturday night was my sister's 4th Annual Fur-Raising and Grazing benefitting her PETS low cost spay and neuter clinic....We had a good time...Kohen got his face painted...Kerry's parents had a fun time cleaning it off that night:)...It was adorable though!

We got there early before the crowd started arriving so Kresee could eat without a lot of distractions....She just hung out and ate on the table...After we got our food later on, then she only wanted to sit in the big chair and screamed at me if I even thought about moving her....

It was a great crowd and they raised a good amount of money...This is their one and only fundraiser throughout the year...So they rely on this night with other grants/donations to make it through the year.....

Inquisitive Little Guy

We read a book each night before bedtime....When Kerry or I turn off the light, Kohen always says "Can we talk about something?"....I say sure, but just for a few minutes....So he thinks and comes up with some interesting topics of conversation, but every night this week has been too funny:

Sunday--lightbulbs
Monday--heaters
Tuesday--refrigerators
Wednesday--doors

Who knows what Kerry has in store for tonight since it's his turn with Kohen:)
