5 Months

Well today Kresee is 5 months old....She is such a sweetie pie (most days!)...No, she continues to be a great baby....She has decided to be a little high maintenance as of lately...I think she knows I'm about to go back to work....So she wants me paying attention to her all the time....But most of the time I don't mind....She has decided she likes to wake up more and eat at night which is not too fun for me.....But I think we are getting back on track!!....We have "tried" rice cereal, sweet potatoes, avocados, and bananas....Tried that is---she really hasn't liked anything....But I'm just doing it here and there and haven't really pushed the whole solid food thing yet anyways...I figure when she turns 6 months, I will get on the ball....And maybe she will be more likely to eat the food instead of cringing the whole time and turning her head in refusal.....

She loves to be tickled and I love her sweet laugh....She sounds identical to Kohen's little baby laugh...We even watched videos of him to compare....She loves sitting outside...She loves sucking on her blankets or burp cloths...She likes hanging upside down....She loves watching Kohen...She loves when he talks to her...She absolutely lights up when she sees her daddy (which is a great thing if you know how much of a mommy's boy Kohen was).....She loves her feet and toes.....She is still wearing size 2 diapers, but I don't know how much longer they will last...She is already wearing some 6 month clothes depending on the brand.....She enjoys sucking on her lips....She has learned how to make this weird sound...Sounds like she is itching her throat....Whatever it is, she does it all the time....

Lazy Lake

We were very lazy this weekend....We didn't even go down to the dock or get in the boat yesterday at all....Kerry tried to take Kohen today but the dock wasn't working....We think it got struck by lightning because something looked burned (again, I don't know because I wasn't really paying attention)....So the sea-doo and boat lifts weren't working.....Kerry and Kohen just swam in the cove instead.....

We decided we need to have a "girl's pool" and a "boy's pool".....Have a feeling no matter where the girls are, the boys will be right there too:)

Kresee absolutely loved swinging....She swung for probably 30 minutes....I think I got bored before she did.....

Going, Going, Gone

Kresee's absolute favorite thing to do is sit outside...She will hang out in her bumbo on the swing next to you for a long time.....Even if there is no action running around in front of her, she still will sit there perfectly content.....

But last weekend, the boys were playing in the swimming pool and running around....She was sitting there and then it obviously wore her out watching these two.....They didn't want to look at the camera (shocker) and so I told them to give me a mean face.....

We sat outside yessterday as well.....I think we do just about everyday.....

We hung out and enjoyed the warm weather....Watched the dogs bake in the sun.....

And I stared out at the fence thinking of Sweet Biskit....She is buried right behind our back fence....

Boomer Sooner:)

Kresee will be 5 months next week and she is having her pictures made....I have all her little outfits and things ready to go...This morning I decided to see how her Sooner shirt fit her....We bought this when I was pregnant with her while we were in Norman sometime....It was Kohen's gift to Kresee when she was born....It is 6 months and I forget how those collegiate shirts/clothes run small...So it's pretty darn tight on her fat little belly....I guess since she is above average, we are starting to wear some 6 month clothes already...Kerry recently corrected me on my last post of her stats from her 4 month check-up....Our pediatrician just said she is right above average which meant right above the 50% percentile to me...He pointed out that she really is at the 75% for height and weight....So that is for you, Kerry!!!...I was wrong and you were right:)

She is sitting up so good these days....She, of course, will fall over at some point....But she can go for a minute or longer by herself now......

See that bin sitting in the background....It's filled to the brim of clothes that are already too small...Did that yesterday and couldn't believe how much stuff she's already grown out of!!

Sweet Dreams Biskit

We said goodbye to Biskit last night around 7:30....It was the hardest thing and most sad thing I've ever done in my life....This morning as it rains, I already miss her sweet face so much....My heart is broken, but I do know she is no longer in any pain....We love you Sweet Biskit.....

Jumperoo

Got out the Jumperoo today to see if Kresee likes it....So far, so good....Here is one of Kohen when he first tried it out at 5 months too....

So I've been searching for a blanket for Kresee....She absolutely loves to suck on ribbons...She really loves her pacifier clip ribbons and she loves sucking on her blankets, burp cloths, etc....My friend Angela has the cutest blanket for her baby girl and I fell in love...So I've been in search of finding one like it....I have heard of Etsy but never looked at it....I actually did for the first time about 2 weeks ago and it's where I ordered this precious tutu for Kresee's upcoming 5 month pictures....

Spool N Loops is her shop's name and she has some cute stuff.....She's in the process of these precious dolls to that I think I might have to get one as well:)
I think Etsy can be a little bit addicting!!!
