Butterfly girl

We were at Maw and Papa's today...It was such a pretty afternoon and the kids were playing outside. There is a big field and she is always chasing butterflies around. She was determined to catch one. Of course, the rude mommy I am told her that she most likely won't catch one but she can sure try. Well she proved me wrong. One landed on a big weed and she walked so quietly and carefully and grabbed that butterfly. She was so excited; melted my heart how happy this moment made her. It even hung out on her hand long enough for me to snap a quick picture. She will be showing everyone this picture that will look at it:)

Painted Ponies Pumpkin Patch

 After school today, we met Grammie out at a pumpkin patch to take some pictures, pet some farm animals and ride a pony. Kresee has been asking for a long time to ride one. She's been obsessed with this show on Netflix called "Horseland" so she's been dying to ride a horse:) It was super sunny so it was hard to take a picture without them all squinty!

 But she fell in love immediately with this super friendly chick. It obviously loves people and wants to follow you around everywhere.

 

 

 He loved chasing Kohen. Of course, Kohen thought it was awesome.

 Kohen loved all the animals and kept asking me to take another picture of him (very rare)!

 

 

 We got Kresee away from the baby chick once the ponies were ready to go. She loved it!

 He let them ride for a really long time since no one was there yet. So much, I was getting really bored and wanted to say "Ok, they can get off now!"

 Then back over to the animals one last time before Kresee cried because she didn't want to leave the baby chick. I promised her we would come back (highly doubt we will this year).

More Baseball

Basically our Saturdays for the next several weeks are going to consist of 2 baseball games and 2 soccer games. So we will stay completely worn out until Mid-November; hope we survive. But seeing them love the sports they play makes it all worth it.

 

After two baseball games, we had time to run home and get her ready for soccer...She was hanging out with the dogs...pretty cute

 Then we headed over to the MSU Rugby game...Kohen has been hanging out at their practices...They practice where we practice soccer so he's mesmorized by the sport...They all know his name and today he got to help be water boy and ball boy...Made his day for sure!!

So we came home nice and sunburned from being outside the ENTIRE day--haha...But he can't wait for another rugby game!

River Bend Party

One of Kresee's best buddies (they've been friends since they were born) turned 5! Gram has his party at River Bend and Kresee was so excited to go and see him. This is the first year they haven't been together. He is attending a different preschool and I know she misses him. They had a great time and of course she loved seeing all the different bugs and reptiles. She could stay at this place for hours!

Finally! 1st Game

Our coach was able to get one of the games rescheduled from Saturday to this Wednesday evening. So we were very ready to finally play some baseball. He played the Rangers; the team he's been on since starting tball/baseball so it was fun seeing all his friends and former coaches.

 He did great. Played pitcher and hit really well. He is so stinking cute. I think a baseball uniform sure suits him. They won and all did great!

Halloween Costumes

TT always takes the kiddos to get their Halloween costumes every year. She picked them up from school yesterday and I honestly never know what they are going to come with. Fortunately, Kohen kept saying a black ninja and he stuck with it so it was no surprise. Kresee has been wanting to be a mermaid for awhile now. Not necessarily, "The Little Mermaid: Ariel" but it was the cutest costume and she is super excited to wear it with all the accessories. SO I have a feeling these will be worn a lot even before Halloween gets here!
