17 Months

I had a busy day yesterday taking Kohen to Castaway Cove, then dinner with lots of friends and art class...So I couldn't post about Miss Kresee turning 17 mos:)

Man, I keep saying it but I love this age right around 18 mos....New words everyday...I need to start writing them down so I won't forget...Oh well...Her newest thing is mocking everything you say...."No more Kresee''...."no mo"...."Just one"..."du wu"....She says whatever I say and it cracks me up...She is putting more phrases together...."I want cheese" or "I want outside"....She has everyone's name down---mommy, daddy, mammie, maw, papa, mimi, kenzie...But she really still does not say Kohen...If she does, it sounds nothing like Kohen so she might be???

Still only has the 4 top teeth and 2 bottom...We keep thinking maybe some molars are working their way through b/c she is gnawing on her fingers....Eventhough she seems to not be gaining much weight, this girl eats like a pig...Probably more than her brother most days...She basically eats 2 dinners...While I'm cooking she eats her dinner, then when we sit down she want in Kerry's lap and eats whatever he eats too:)

Youtube Junkie

Kohen loves getting on the computer...His favorite is http://www.starfall.com/ so he can learn his letters...But if I let him, he would stay on youtube for an hour just listening to music and watching videos....We usually start out with Alvin and the Chipmunks and then he just clicks on whatever related video looks good...Yes, I have to keep tabs on him or who knows what he might end up seeing but he can sure work his way around that site....The other day is what everything Lady Gaga!

Riding Around

Kresee has figured out the foot pedal on the tractor...She was confused at first since there wasn't a button on the steering wheel...Now, if she would only learn to steer....And Kohen just likes to ram into her:)

New Cousin

Shellie and Jayson had their 3rd child yesterday morning....Another baby girl....She doesn't have a name yet...But was 6 lbs 12 oz and 20 inches long...Kohen and Kresee can't wait to meet their new cousin:)

Daddy's Helpers

Kerry had to get out the super, duper tall ladder this evening to change one of our flood lights on our front porch...The kids were great helpers climbing on the ladder...Then he had to knock down a little wasp nest and a baby wasp nest....Kohen just kept saying "I just love helping"...He can't wait to take the wasp nests to school to show his friends:)

Then Kresee cooled off with her first popsicle...Kohen politely declined...She enjoyed it...

17 mos. old Kohen

Since Kresee is about to turn 17 mos., I thought I would look back at pictures to remind myself of what this sweet boy looked like at 17 mos...I have to admit he was pretty stinking cute:)

It never ceases to amaze me how quickly they grow and change!...What a great kid he is:)

Duck Duck

Kresee's favorite animal beside the bird is a duck...She loves saying "Duck Duck" and then "quack quack"...

Here she is watching Baby Einstein with a duck....Love how she is smiling so big:)

And her latest is flapping her arms like a duck....

And the kid knows how to say Elmo...Didn't know that one until the other day...We were in the car and she says "Mel-mo"...Kerry and I looked at each other and were like she said Elmo...She can now say "down" and her friend "jack" But it sounds like "da"....She loves singing the ABC's...We have a fridge thing that sings them and she will sit in there and just yell it...Of course it's completely and mostly jibberish but she sure thinks she has it down!
