2 month check-up

So we finally got to take Kresee for her 2 month check-up....Everything went great...She got 3 shots in her little legs...So that wasn't fun and she was not happy about it at all...But she is doing good today and was running a low grade fever earlier but you wouldn't have known it....

Kresee Leigh----2 mos-----11 lbs 10 oz----23 1/4 inches long

Kohen Brant----2 mos----13 lbs 4 oz----25 inches long

Mother's Day and then some

Kohen did NOT want his picture made...."It makes my eyes bright mommy!"...He's never complained before...But he was not having it....Too bad...I just wanted one good Mother's Day picture.....

So we just decided to stick out our tongues so at least he would laugh....

Two Months!!

Our baby girl is now 2 months old. I really can't believe it. She has grown and changed so much. You forget how big they get so quickly. She is such a great baby. So content and happy. She rarely cries or fusses. If she does, it's usually because she is tired or just hungry. So you can satisfy her pretty easily. She still continues to sleep so good at night only waking up once which is great now that I'm back to work. She smiles all the time at you and even has started to giggle just a tiny bit. I love that she is happy when you set her down. She will lay on her playmat or sit in her bouncy chair and be happy. We have her 2 mos. appointment on Friday. So I can't wait to see how much she weighs and how long she is and then compare it to Kohen's 2 mos. appt.

Kohen started swim lessons and his first session was last night. He was super-excited about going and did great. Kerry and I really didn't pay too much attention to him because we wanted him to listen to the lady and not concentrate on what we were doing. So I only snapped a few pictures not wanting to distract him. Kresee even enjoyed herself. She hung out in her diaper since it was pretty warm and humid in the pool room.

Smarty Pants

I sit in the rocker in our room with Kresee a lot....Whether I'm feeding her or pumping or just letting her snooze on my chest, I really like sitting in my chair...It has an ottoman that rocks with it and I love it....Well Kohen loves it too...He really likes being right there when I'm in the chair hanging all over the ottoman...He is rocking it so hard that I think its going to break or at least tip over...SO I'm constantly telling him to stop rocking so hard or to leave it alone....But really he doesn't care and still does it....

The other day we are all right there in our room...Kerry was sitting there cleaning up the mess of toys and I was rocking Kresee...Kohen, again, was swinging (as he calls it) on the ottoman....

Me: "Kohen, please stop rocking that so hard....I'm soooo tired of telling you to stop rocking on that all the time..."

Kohen: "Well I'm tired of you saying that...."

And he was just as serious as he could be...Kerry, of course, is over there snickering and I'm trying to keep a straight face because I know that was a rude comment from my 3 year old...But I couldn't get onto him because I would have started laughing....

So I've been very busy with work and then when I get home, I'm busy at home and then I'm just ready to go to bed!! I know you working moms know the feeling. Or heck, even if you are a stay at home mom, you know the feeling. So here is some catch-up pictures of the two kiddos.
