Halloween....

We got Kohen's Halloween costume...He wanted to be a pirate so luckily the Children's Place had one and of course he's already worn it several times....

WFHS vs Denton

The Coyotes played Denton last week...But I haven't had a chance to post since we had a long weekend of sickness....Kohen went to this game and that night the fever hit him....

Kohen and Kresee the morning of....Already wearing their Coyote attire.....

But it got cool and rainy, so we had to change......
Kohen got a "W" painted on his face......

Tailgating and eating Taco Bell.....

High-fiving the players as they go into the locker room before the game....

Kresee watching all the pre-game activities....

Getting ready to run through......

Kerry out on the field....Yes, he is in a coaching shirt.....He thinks he is cool....

Showing me his "paw" flag ...

Wishing the players luck....

Kresee watching the big football players walk by.....

He was the last one to run through the Coyote Head, but he did it this time!

Kohen was slow and was the last one running.....So Laresa and Teresa had to carry him to hurry it up....

Making a "W" in the end zone.....

And the best part was that they won their first game:)

Flu, Really???

So Kohen was sneezing and had a clear, runny nose yesterday...Nothing new for him since he does take Allegra twice daily for his fun allergies....But he came home from the football game last night burning up....He was running a 102.3 fever and it hung on most of the night...But was down to 99 this morning and when we got to the doctor's office it was back to normal...I just wanted to take him in to be on the safe side since we do have Kresee to think about...I did not think we would leave there with a possibility of flu....But by the time we got home, the doctor called and said it was positive!
So luckily, he is doing pretty good considering....He acts a little tired and still has the runny nose...But nothing too bad....We are all on TamiFlu now except for Kresee....Kerry pretty much has some symptoms and I think he now has the flu as well...I'm praying Kresee and I stay healthy...She can't take any medicine so he said if she does get it, hopefully it will be a mild case....She does have a runny nose but had it yesterday too...So I'm just waiting and watching to see if a fever comes her way.....
Tomorrow was flu shot day for the kids....So that won't be happening for Kohen, but if Kresee is still doing fine she will be getting hers in the morning....

Family Pictures

It's been 2 years since we had family pictures....I swore I would make Kerry only do them every other year...So Kohen was 1 1/2 last time we took them and of course it worked out since Kresee is now with us....I seriously have been warning him for at least 6 months!!....
We had them yesterday and it was sticky and hot and lots of bugs....But from DeEdra's blog, it still looks like she got some cute and fun ones:)...And I think I will like all of them if I am not in them....Love the fat face in our family picture (haha)!!..Can I still blame Kresee for being fat??....
Kohen was a mess as usual eventhough he got kind of whiny at the end, but he still managed to take some sweet pictures...And Kresee is just not going to smile like usual for anyone with a camera....She still looks cute though....Oh well:)

Check them out....

Big Words for a Little Boy

Kohen continues to crack us up with some of the things he says....And what makes it funnier is when he actually uses them in the right context....Sometimes I actually think he may know what he is talking about....

Last night he was trying to avoid going to bed...Everynight it's "Three more minutes" or "I wanna throw the football five more times"....But he was messing with the doors where the TV is in our bedroom....I said Kohen leave the doors open...."But I'm just trying to get them situated for Daddy!"

Really, "situated"....Kerry and I couldn't help but laugh....

Trying sooooo hard....

She wants to get up on those knees...But they just won't cooperate....
Her little belly gets off the ground, but those legs just stay put.....
And then she just gets tuckered out and rolls on her side for a breather.....

Sweet girl---there's no rush!!....You can NOT crawl for awhile and I would be completely fine with that:)

Pioneer Reunion Parade

We met up with Cameron and her mommy, Angela, this morning to go to the parade in Henrietta....This is our 3rd year in a row to go and Kohen really enjoys it...Last year was pretty darn hot so we enjoyed the nicer weather this time eventhough it ended up being a little warm towards the end....Kresee stayed home with Daddy since I knew I couldn't handle 2 kids in that big of a crowd...And Kerry can't miss any gameday or college football, so he didn't want to go with me....

Kohen's favorite part is the marching bands...So he was pretty mad at the end when he realized no more bands would be coming by....His 2nd favorite part was the horses...Everytime one passed by, he wanted to know "Is he gonna poop mommy??"....And then he liked to ask "Are they gonna step in that horse poop?"

Fun Fair

We went to the Fair Tuesday night....Shellie brought Jaxson so the boys could have fun together....We all had a good time...Stayed a little over 2 hrs...Kresee did great---just hung out in her stroller the whole time until the last 2 rides....She decided she wanted someone to hold her for a little bit...

Daddy driving Kresee around....
You had to have an adult to ride this ride...Kerry and I didn't buy an arm band and so this nice lady let Kohen get on with her and her daughter....

The roller-coaster....Kohen couldn't ride this last year...Well I just don't think we let him b/c it goes pretty fast....He loved it this year:)

The carousel......

The cars....
The motorcycles were a favorite...I think they rode this ride at least 3 times.....

The boys riding in the car....Kohen was on the inside and then somehow they switched mid-ride...Good thing the guy didn't see them or I'm sure they would have gotten in trouble....
Kresee sitting in her stroller....
Then she wanted Daddy to hold her.....

Little Sooner

(All these were taken on my little hand-held camera, so not-so-great quality)
We took Kohen to his first OU game on Saturday...He's known for a few weeks that he was going to get to go and has been soooo excited...He's been saying that we have to go far, far away....He did great in the car as always....He watched the "Gremlins" and I told him that he should probably take a nap and so he did....It poured the entire way there...But the closer we got to Norman, the rain seemed to let up a little....We grabbed McDonald's since it was the only thing right there and was convenient...Got to park the car around 4:45 and ate our dinner in the car....We got everything situated and started our long walk...He was ready to put on his yellow poncho....
We hadn't even been walking 5 minutes and he complained he was tired of walking so Kerry had to end up carrying him the rest of the way....Kerry was very sore the next day:)

We took a few pictures before the game.....Kohen and Kerry in front of the Jason White Heisman Statue.....

Kohen and Kerry with former OU player, Travis Wilson and his brother Cory....Cory was playing for OU but was injured in a car accident this past Spring....

We had seats pretty low down (Row 14)....I've never been that close to the field...Kerry had to hold Kohen pretty much the entire game so he could see.....I love this picture of his little hand in the air....The 1st and 4th quarter were great...There was a constant sprinkle...The 2nd quarter and part of the 3rd quarter rained very hard...Some of that time, I just had to watch the game on the big screen because if I turned the other way towards the field I would get pelted in the eye with the rain....Since we were winning at half time, a lot of people left because of the rain...So we got front row seats the 2nd half...
Man if I had my good camera I could have taken some really great pictures of the players....
Kohen watching the band at half time from the first row......
Hiding in Daddy's poncho to stay warm for a little bit.....

In all, we had a great time...Kohen can't wait to go back...We can't wait to take him again (when it's not raining)
